  1. I know we've obviously tried to sign another striker, but the club has let strikers go before replacements were in the door. This is very poor. We needed options up front for these next two crucial home games. To think of all the special players we have had up front in the past to be going into the remaining games with a project player, an untried player and a player who is always injured is shocking. Scunnered to say the least.

We do need a boost but tbh I dont think it was a bad thing putting players out on loan who weren't getting game time. I get what you are saying but we can't go back to the days of throwing money at players given that we ended up in administration.

I get that, but what's the point of freeing up wages, to not use it to at least bring in fewer players who are better quality. Our squad is the smallest in league, surely there's money available.

We need players who can play upfront. Scoring goals win you games, especially when we need to outscore our opponents given how bad our defence is at stopping goals.

  3. Killie and St Mirren are blowing us out of the water financially apparently. We've released God knows how many players, have the smallest squad and paying our main striker to date Peanuts.  Is our CEO penny pinching and risking a relegation on balancing a budget sheet? Fans are already disinterested and falling away. The club needs a boost of some sorts, not another boot in the Nether regions.

Who was it? Gent was superb he just tired at the end due to his effort.

Agree I thought Gent was one of our better players. Looked like Spittal. The manager said words were said to Gent after the game. Hopefully it was constructive and not destructive.

  5. Some of our best players in the past started through being chucked into the lions den at a young age. It goes back to when will it ever be the right time, especially in this league.

Looking at the end of the game seasoned pros have a cheek having a go at Gent for his error that cost us a goal. Yes, its frustrating, but some of these seasoned pros have hardly covered themselves in glory upto now with many a poor performance.

Hopefully we add a few bodies to the midfield.

  6. you always take at least a point away from home. Some very tired legs, and a manager not trusting the kids. Poor equaliser to lose yet again. Gent needed to do better with his clearance, and Bevis unlucky again with the deflection . Even at the end we were given them chances by not doing the simply thing and keeping the ball.

    Another point clear of Livingston.
