  1. This ain't the same Dundee as last season. They have lost alot of good players and are poorer. Like every game it won't be easy, but Dundee being at home, might mean they are more open. Cut out the stupid mistakes and we can win.
  2. Ain't it funny. Cries of get a cb in and when we apparently do, it's cries of not him! Perhaps our first choices failed to materialise. Is he better than Balmer? He probably is. He is still young enough to develop and I am sure will be fine. Only downside is if he become a fixture in the defence, that defence will need to change against Celtic.
  3. When McGhee signed i am sure you and I had the discussion about my concerns about his injury record. Take no satisfaction about being right. Was it a gamble worth taking?
  4. AP you can't fault his work rate. He contributed but to me he seems to lack abit of sharpness in the box. He also needs to work on his runs beyond the opposition defence. Far to many careless offsides. Maybe once the team gels it will click. As for O'Donnell, he has played well recently, but now like Ward you wonder when the defensive mistake will happen. I rather have Johnny at right back as he is more mobile. I thought they were looking at players pushing opponents when they are in the air and making no attempt to go for ball. I'm sure it was Kettlewell, funny enough, who constently highlighted the dangers of inbalancing an opponent. The contact on Ward was slight but enough to gain an advantage. Goalies are over protected anyhow, but consistency would be nice. Ward needs to be stronger, but would also ask where was our center backs? Still early days but although mistakes have stopped us winning, it has been entertaining and that's what we all wanted. Long may it continue and with abit of luck and improvements that will happen we will win.
  5. there was as much contact on Ward as there was when Cook was penalised for an apparent foul on the killie player just prior to conceeding the 2nd. usually goalies are protected, but not this time. Tho, Ward needs to be much stronger.
  6. Big JBA is gutted we did not win. Wonder if Ward has even entered the dressing room yet? lol
  7. If true, we dont know what has been said behind the scenes. Perhaps it was always the intention to sell him this window, as he was never going to resign another contract. Hearts splashed £1.5/7m on a player and Hibs £1m bench warmer, lets us see what we are competing against. We do need some more bodies in.
  8. Think it says it all that teams are happy to escape with a draw against us. We can only improve.
  9. Killies 27% possession wont end well eventually.
  10. The ignore function is a wonderful thing.
  11. Their second is a hopeful punt and run of the mill for a goalkeeper to deal with. Our goalies never seem to improve, especially with cross balls. Should we not be looking at the coaching side of things??
  12. Not as clear cut as previous weeks. Lucas probably just edges it for his effort all over the park.
  13. suppose we need to be patient. We know the system works. Just need to cut out the stupid mistakes which we seem to have been making since the year dot. We have come on a fair bit, and perhaps its no bad thing to bring us down a peg or two.
  14. another of what could have been. All players make mistakes, but the goalies has probably cost us again today. The style of play has nowt to do with the stupid goals we have lost. Disappointing, but still undefeated, so there is that. Some of our players today did not reach the heights of previous games. Probably due to Killie camping practically in their own box.
  15. WTF is gordon ruby tackle there, stupid.
  16. Never in game and typical mistake again from us. Some things never really change.
  17. referee gives a foul against cook for even less contact just before. No Excuse tho, should do much better than that.
  18. Said looks as if he has ran his race
  19. Re AP its like he is on a different wave length.
  20. Hopefully they tire and spaces open up for us to exploit.
  21. Our best chances have come when Killie have been dragged forward from their own box. Typical Kettlewell, sit really deep and hit on break. We need to wise up and perhaps get a sitting midfield player on.
