  1. some things never change eh? We play away from home, against an unknown side, in crazy conditions, still very early in the season and Jimbo's reign as manager, and yet after defeat which quite easily could have been a win, all our players are pish again!! Aye get real! If this lack of encouragement turns up in Airdrie next week we are going to struggle big style.

Why do certain posters say they support our wee club, and yet show absolutely nothing but contempt with everything our clubs staff, players try to do. It's seems their abuse is far more than lashing out in frustration.

It's very easy to criticise, shout abuse and ridicule without offering any solutions to the problems our team and every team in scotland is facing. This negativity actually drives people away, and does more harm than good. If you really want our club to be successful fully encourage it and even those players who we all know perhaps just aint quite good enough.

Lets make a right racket in Airdrie next week and roar our boys to victory. Just remember it's Airdrie! all the more reason to noise up the locals by reminding them we are the boys from the MFC.

  2. im not having a go at jimbo. He can only pick whats available to him presently, and i am sure expected those individuals to do the basics.

As i said i think several of our experienced players probably played themselves out of the team for next week, and perhaps out of the club.

  3. says it all that our best players or should i say most mentioned players on the radio were our younger players, i.e. Forbes, Saunders, Slane, Murphy, McHugh.

Tonights result might actually be a blessing in disguise because surely jimbo can see that the so called experienced players aint good enough and should be ditched pronto.

Sutton offside constantly Obrien cannae cross a ball McGarry disappeared Defence fell asleep yet again.

hardly a suprise tonights result, as we relied to much on Clarkson to create and score goals last season.

  4. staughton would be a strange appointment, given his lack of managerial or even as a coach experience. All appointments are a risk, but if the club is going to take a risk, surely, its got to be with a guy has a previous connection with the club, i.e. Big Luc, or Mac.

  5. the bottom line for me is how the new manager intends to set up the team and manner in which the game will be played. Not much point in having a new shinny level playing field for the ball to be in the air 95% of the time.

Remember we were quick enough to warn other fans about Malpas, and those views about Mcghee's loyality were spot on. So i guess when you get any warning about Sanchez's ability it should not be ignored.

  6. Gary as manager and luc as number 2

Surely we need to get a manager who not only wants to do well in the short term, but also a manager who wants to develop and bring through our youth. I was never convinced McGhee was bothered about that side of things, i.e. last game of season playing the old guard.

p.s. please lets look beyond the old sfa guard, i.e. brown, duffy & co. As for wee tommy, football has moved on and im not so sure our poor wee lambs (players) could cope or put up with his tantrums and bullying.

  7. mcghee has been messing about with the team all season, and seems to have a short memory with regards to decisions which dont work, i.e. lasley at right back.

We might get more effort and determination from the youngsters.

  8. we gifted falkirk 3 points today. Our defence was a nightmare. Lasley should never play right back ever again. Why get sheridan, who could not mark his own shaddow, to mark scobie at a corner. Why did McGarry run away from goal when thru on the goalie?? Young murphy did more in his short time on the field than Sutton & McGarry combined.

So many questions yet again from an inept performance.

On todays performance it would appear not many want to be here next season. If we only sign one player, it needs to be a leader who can organise and motivate the guys on the park.
