  1. I asked this question of the SFA and was told it was the date both clubs agreed , take from that what you wll
  2. Deadline for getting these tickets has been extended until before the game, Deffo voucher H
  3. Second that and maybe Flow can get something in the match programme for saturday
  4. Mair than a few on here would be partial to a bit of buckie of a night too Weather looking ok http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/gr/...st_weather.html
  5. Have to say I'm not exactly jumpin up an down with the signing of Michael Fraser , A guy who canny displace a keeper in a team that has shipped 38 goals so far this season. (Fraser has conceded 14 from 11 games
  6. Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper Michael Fraser has agreed to join the Steelmen in the summer. The 25-year-old has signed a pre-contract and will leave his hometown club when his current deal expires at the end of the season. Fraser has made 73 appearances for Caley Thistle since breaking into the side five years ago but recently turned down their offer of an extension. Dunno about the rest of you guys but I'm hardly inspired by this, as to me its another indication that Buzz is offski.
  7. Mid January not an awful lot happening in the transfer window in terms of new faces, however many clubs use this opportunity to also tie up existing players on new contracts. I dont know the ins and outs of our players deals but if a mystery benefactor (Lottery Winner perhaps ) in a one off oppotunity provided funds to slap the Golden Handcuffs on just 1 existing player, who would it be ?
  8. I'd wager roughy would never have wihtdrawn from an event to back celtic or hibs, maybe we should all phone his radio show and lambast him.
  9. I've emailed the SFA to ask them but I reckon Flow is our man to find this out and let us know Update SFA official answer is "This is the date agreed by both clubs" well worth finding out eh ? guess the club can answer the why its a week later than the other games question
  10. bit of the old warm ball syndrome to keep the old squirm apart and gie them easy passage
  11. The other called off games are being played on Tues 13th, when we are not playing utd. till sunday , aberdeen are away, and they haven't ot a first team game so can't see any good reason for the delay
  12. Can't help but think that had we played that game today, that we would have stormed it umpty nil and that guys like clarky who have been tryng too hard to score recently would have banged in a few goals each. What a confidence boost that would have been going into some crucial fixtures, 6 pointers every other week here. I hope the game goes ahead as scheduled as I think we can still take something from the trip to tannadice. If you were to offer me 8 points before the Celtic Game I'd bite your hand off for them. ALL YOU DOUBTERS BE DAMNED THIS CAN STILL BE A CRACKING SEASON FOR THE 'WELL
  13. Many reports on the game portray it as a dull and lifeless affair, I beg to differ I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game (Although much of that was offering some much needed (in my opinion) career and general life advice to the East Stand Linesaman and his wee baldy pal in the middle of the park , whats his job again oh aye Bawbag.
  14. The whole aloofness is kinda ironic, the vast majority of there support is from Gorgie and westwards, i.e. Saughton and the salobrius heights of westerhailles, sighthill an area notoriously full of drug dens and general dodgy behaviour. I agree about the whole sectarian bit every bit as bad if not worse than that team from the govan area (another quality neighbourhood)
  15. O' Brien is getting better with every game, final bal still needs work but the players round about him are starting to see his runs and passes. When he was subbed the East Stand almost to a man were on thier feet applauding, he's winning over the boo boys
  16. I lsitened to his post match on radio scotland on the way home no idea what he said but t took about ten minutes to say it EDIT... from the bbc website Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo: "This was the biggest game in this season for my team, but Motherwell were not the best, but they scored a goal in 10 minutes Bolloks we were miles better all over the park
  17. reckon we'll be ok the guys were training under it wouldn't do that if risky
  18. and Gaag would have a long trek down from sheepland to get to the game
  19. Hmm would you go to a new employer on the premise that you'll mebees get your wages knda depends how ma aliminium plant in vladivostock or wherever does whats wrong cszaba you scared the dossers are going to derail your season ?
  20. There was something on the club site about free adult an child tickets for selected home games (ICT game the other week and 2 others which I cant remember) for adult ST holders I probably wont take this opportunity for myself so if anyone wants me to get the tickets for them to bring someone along let me know. Any chance to have someone come along and get addicted to seeing the 'well has to be a good thing EDIT Falkirk 24th Jan Accies 14th Feb
  21. If anyone had a pair of tickets for sale at face value I'd happily give someone a lift , chance would be a fine thing right enough . Gaag has first dibs on spare briefs by the looks of it
  22. Weather forecast looks like getting better so should go ahead (http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml) also from thier website 04/01/2009 - Locos to cover the entire surface in attempt to be Well sure of a gameInverurie Locos, like all other Highland League clubs, were forced into cold storage yesterday, frozen pitches the order of the day, and their game against Nairn County, scheduled for Harlaw Park, being postponed, leaves Dave Cormie's team well behind their rivals in number of games played and sadly lacking in match practice As well as the four times postponed tie with Vale of Leithen, eventually played mid December, their only League game played in five weeks was a home defeat by Keith. However hopes are high Saturday's game will go ahead. A goodwill gesture from Aberdeen FC will see Paul Fiske and his AFC ground staff come to Harlaw Park early in the week to lay down the Pittodrie covers which will enclose the whole pitch .
  23. 2 things 1) Who gives a rats ass whether its undersoil or a big baloon as long as the pitch is playable officialdom wont concern themselves. 2) We can always move the lines a la accies (how long before they get to move the goalposts too) 3) or III or iii or C Forecast is improving every day perfect weather to hump the jambos
  24. I dont get the chance to get pished before the game cos I'm in exile in airdrie and have to drive to the games, and maybe get a chance to knock down some airdrie fans en route, every cloud........ Although had a skinful watching the Nancy game in the cooper suite, didnae hae work the next day so dossed at ma mates
  25. I would imagine what with the college moving part of the special school moving then there will be a fair bit of development around Fir Park , now I'm no expert bu surely that has to increse the value of the land our beloved stadium sits. Developers + valuable land = A new stadium and a wad of cash for the club, I tend to think 3 - 5 years and a possible tie in with the new Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility North Lanarkshire Council, in partnership with SportScotland, Ravenscraig Ltd and Motherwell College are proposing to build a £30m million regional sports facility at Ravenscraig. The complex will feature: · a football and sports hall (105m x 73m x 18m high at its centre) with 400 spectator seats · an athletics hall featuring a track and field event training areas (26.5m x 135m and clear height of 7.4m and 9.7m) · central changing rooms and entry area · dance studios · outdoor football and training pitches · interaction zones · a strength conditioning area · a café · a viewing gallery · an activity area for children.
