John Wilson from FirParkCorner normally does a good report from the AGM.
  2. Wouldnt be upset either way. Having been to a number of matches in England it is a nice novelty but not one that I would take advantage of every week. The choice should be there for adults to decide if they want a pint at the football. Its a revenue stream that clubs need to be able to exploit. Then again we have failed to have a bookmakers in the stadium for some time now. Surely another area that we need to push forward.
  3. Absolutely not. He isnt even in the worst 100 to have played for the 'Well!
  4. Basing the following on the highlights only. Craig Reid looked at fault for the 2nd and 3rd goal. He was bullied by Quinn for the 2nd and he was in no mans land for the 3rd. I don't expect that he costs the world but we need to be aiming a little bit higher than Reid.
  5. Can't see anything but a defeat. A fighting performance would be progress.

  7. My last post was a load of shit. You can still go up but the train times suck. I am certain their used to be a 7:10am train from Queen Street that got you into Inverness around 10:30am and then an 11am up to Dingwall. Seems the timetable has changed. There is a train on the way home out of Dingwall at 7:41pm that will get you into Inverness 5mins before the 8:15pm departure to Glasgow. You will need to make your own way back from Glasgow as trains will have finished for the night. Times are not great but train is a possabilitiy if you really really want to go!
  8. We have done the train a couple of times but seems that there are some works on the go stopping you from going Motherwell>Glasgow>Inverness>Dingwall. You used to be able to get into Dingwall from around 12noon and then leave again about 7pm. We have also once got a taxi from Dingwall to Inverness and caught a train back to Glasgow. As I have mentioned, seems the options are not available. I really wish I was able to go to the match. Real excitment about the new signings and I reckon we are going to win comfortably and turn in the best performance of the season. Having a bit of pace and quality will be the difference. Will be sitting with a few beers and watching Soccer Saturday hoping to see a few goals come through.
  9. I'm probably one of the only ones that is pleased by the moves for TV. Means I can pick up a stream and watch them out here!
  10. Brilliant window for us. Clearly been well backed by the new chief to keep us in the SPL. After seeing what our rivals done, I expect us to pull away a bit and be comfortable by the end of April!
  11. For a player to be released in January normally means that they have something lined up. I reckon he will end up back in Scotland but I don't think it will be with us.
  12. There we have it. Get him in as number 1!
  13. Think he had some amusing moments. The story of him blootered on the flight home from Romania and hearing the news that Aberdeen got completely spanked off some Czech mob makes me smile. I am sure it was something along the lines of hoping that Mark McGhee's house burned down!
  14. Now that would be welcome news. Hopefully he is someone who can own his box. Still find it strange that we would be able to fund a goalkeeper whilst Gunnar is still on the books.
  15. £300k is now being reported for McLean. Would like to see us pull something out the bag here!
  16. They knocked back £150k from Fleetwood a couple of weeks ago so you have got to think that the offer is north of that figure. He has 18 months on his contract so no real need for them to sell him on the cheap whilst they are neck deep in shit at the bottom of the league.
  17. McLean signing for Aberdeen is a great bit of news. Will leave a massive gap in their side and unlikely to be able to get a suitable replacement.
  18. Because they are a bigger club than us, have more money coming through the club and are not completely skint like us. I reckon we will bring in one player today with one leaving.
  19. He clearly cares very much for the football club. Had some good highs and big lows. Will look back on his time fondly as it has been fairly successful, just without a trophy to top it off!
  20. Spoken to a mate who is a Notts County fan, watching them home and away every week. Here is what he had to say about Laing. "Really good to start off with then he had a game at Scunthorpe akin to me playing drunk. Got injured and never recovered. He's decent on the ball, fairly mobile. Not as good in the air as you'd expect. Definitely got a bit of talent though" Sounds like he wont be any worse than what we have at centre half.
  21. Doesnt sound promising. Ojamma didnt look fantastic since he returned but with the 2 signings made so far, it looks like we are going to continue to struggle to score goals. Finances are tight just now but next year is going to be even worse in the Championship!
  22. Never paid the bill and it's been cut off.
  23. From comments made by 'Flow on Twitter yesterday it looks promising that we are going to have a few additions to the squad this week. Fingers crossed both St Mirren and County don't have the same plans...
  24. I think your being quite optimistic!
  25. The I-League in India is dreadful. I went to watch Bangalore v Dempo on Saturday night (Bangalore are Champions and the other mob are meant to be one of the better teams) and it was of a poor standard. I reckon around 2nd Division level in Scotland. Mis-control all over the place and couldnt pass 5 yards... Sounds a bit like us this season!
