4-0 More incredibly weak defending Pathetic stuff
-
You have got to be joking. Just blow full time

Jesus Christ

71% possession. Aberdeen 1 shot on target and scoring from it. We need to be far better in the final third though. Familiar story.
-
If we're teying to get down the sides and get crosses in, it would make more sense to have SPH as the target for them

Ffs

Aberdeen have barely touched the ball

Not an Ex Player, but Alan Burrows has stepped down at Aberdeen

It wasn't just those on the pitch, or damaging the away end. The conduct of some of those who presumably had comps/media passes, or were there in a Celtic capacity was at best antagonistic. Passed Kyrk McMillan/Diirectors box on way out, while the aftermath was still unfolding and said they shouldn't be allowed back. It was fortunate there was no retaliation from the East Stand, or things exceeding verbals in the main stand. Obviously its ridiculous to be fighting in the ground, but it was a highly charged atmosphere and fans were completely incensed by things on and off the field. Will be completely unsurprising when they do it again and wreck the new seats in the away end. If that happens then there is no option, but to cut allocation, otherwise the club look like utterly pathetic cucks. To add, its a tough gig to try and lay down the law to Block E etc when they see massive liberties being taken - with very little recourse - in the away end.
-
Disappointed with that. For all the possession we had we didn't make them work for it nearly enough. Fairly meek in the end.
-
Deary me π°

Players jogging back today is doing my nut in.
-
Kanga on for Said
-
He's also jogging back when we lose the ball, which is starting to rile me up.
-
Incredibly frustrating. Most of the ball, but absolutely gifting them the lead and pretty toothless going forward. Need to be more snappy with the ball. Get Kanga on for some dynamism.
-
Lowry needs to stopp pulling jerseys, arms etc.
-
A bit too slow and not snappy enough. Passing not quite there either
-
π What the fuck was that. Massive let off.
-
73% possession, but handing them the game on a plate
-
Fuck me

No words π

In years past this would be a write-off and one of the most meek, cringeworthy games I have been at was Ibrox the LC in 2012. More recently though we have seen a mindset change where we no longer seem overawed and have had statement victories at Ibrox in the past 3 seasons. No reason why we can't make it 4 in a row. Will be tough going there as ever, Β£10s of millions ploughed into the squad, the crowd and the inevitable weak refereeing, however we should absolute take it to them. We are capable of dismantling any team in the league. I'm relatively confident of coming back with at least a point. Rangers will be dangerous in attack, but they have had gaping holes in midfield, lack a proper 6 and have a defence which can be suspect. We go there, play our game, be brave and minimise unforced errors and see how we get on.

On P&B when the seats were being put in, I jokingly posted if they had checked the depth of the seats as all the comms talked about was width and height. I deleted it because it was smart-arsey really, but here we are. I was quite disappointed after the Celtic game that the club didn't make a statement. May well have come across as sour grapes etc, but the conduct of their fans wasn't on. There were quite rightly some furious Motherwell fans that night and not just at the ref.

Update from Brian Caldwell. Regarding the seat damage in the South Stand, we are at the point where we should be looking to reduce Celtic's allocation. Yes, they may offer to pay for damage, but there has been unacceptable behaviour and wanton vandalism spanning over a decade. This inconveniences the club, opens them up to litigation and impacts the away supports of other teams. The conduct of the fans on the final home game last season was hideous- Not just in the South Stand. In the main stand there was a Celtic-supporting professional coach, acting like an animal. Even worse he thought it was a good look to post it on his TikTok account.

Maswanhise wasn't terrible last night, 2 assists. A few things that didn't come off, but he's a threat and the opposition know it. Only thing that really stuck out last night was he opted to shoot at a very unlikely angle in first half, rather than cutting back for an almost certain goal. Silly fouls high up the pich when we're pressing also frustrate me, but he was appearing to look as if he was trying to avoid contact. The team is still very much gelling though and I'm sure he'll be fine, if not with the same goal return as last year. Levitt slotted in seamlessly. Hodge again was dynamic, buzzing about looking for the ball to progress play. We got noticably more penetration when JGR came on (especially for 2nd goal) when he stepped through the Utd press and played into final third. Lowry fantastic and a good dig on him. Kanga still finding his feet, but clearly technically proficient and again was dynamic and looking for space to receive the ball. Vogt isn't at the races at the moment. Needs the gym and a bit more time to settle in. Palmer-Houlden - A very handy 'target man' and a good finish last night.
