I reckon ince Saids gets up tk speed and loses a few lbs he'll be quality as well. Definitely seems to have a bit of trickery about him. As someone has said, Welsh played 15 games for Mechelen since Jan, so appears to have been a regular in the Jupiler League.

Also said on Spoftscene that Slattery had 'A knock', which sounds far more promising that initial fears.

Having watched the highlights was probably a bit harsh on Ap Stam. Great play from him for our equaliser. He's quite frustrating at times. O'Donnell had another perfectly good game. If we could combine the JBA play with the Wimmer press we'd be formidable. One thing that is slightly getting to me is that we're a yeard off the press at times and allowing crosses in. Another good performance tbough and infinity more watchable. Just need to be a bit sharper in final third and cut out the needless errors.

100% Lost our deep-lying, controlling pivot when Watt went off. I was expecting Maswanhise, Ap Stam and Said off. Still, the single reason we didn't win was horrific goalkeeping.

That is harsh to be fair. The game was effectively won and we utterly dominated them In the 2nd half. Keeper just needs to literally catch the cross, or take the hit and the foul and we see it out.

Said is doing fine, but a yard slower and less dynamic than Slattery. Although he foes have a bit of trickery in him. Need to be a bit more snappy llaying through midfield into final third.

Have been willing him, but we need to change it. He's only effective with balls from wide for him to attack. He doesn't seem to have the football brain to drop dee and collect the ball, lay it off etc. The fist goal stemmed from him running away from the ball, rather than dropping to collect it.
