Turns out Alfie was at Hampden to see Moult score a Worldy lob and Rybo throm hiself about v Rangers. Like that he refused to divulge what was said between him and Jens - Saying it will remain private.

Yeah, think age is less important now as the game has evolved. I a similar way that a Manager giving the hairdryer treatment these days probably wouldn't wash and would be less of a motivator than in the past.

Different Liam Gordon at Port Val.le. Suggestions ours is off to the Far East

We have seen on a few occasions how actual ignorance of the Scottish game and by extension the OF circus/fawning, can be beneficial.

Base 4-3-3 Attacking: His absolute preferred blueprint uses a single anchoring holding midfielder paired with two creative, hard-working central midfielders. Alternative 4-4-2: He occasionally shifts to a 4-4-2 shape depending on squad availability, using a defensive block where the forward line triggers collective pressing. In Possession: Build-up and Attack Positional Play: Players are strictly instructed to occupy specific zones to overload the opponent's defensive lines and create passing triangles. Deep Playmaking: Johansson relies on an experienced defensive midfielder (such as Ole Selnæs at Rosenborg) to drop deep, dictate the tempo, and orchestrate the initial phase of play. Forward-Moving Intensity: He prioritises direct, forward-passing moves to break opposition lines over slow, sideways possession. 1v1 Isolation: Wide attackers are encouraged to isolate full-backs in wide areas, utilizing a strong first touch and immediate acceleration to create crossing or shooting opportunities. Out of Possession: Defending and Transition High Pressing & Tenacity: His forward lines act as the catalyst for defensive work, pressing opponents high up the pitch to force rushed long balls. Aggressive Rest-Defense: Midfielders are instructed to remain close to the action so they can launch a quick counter-press or transition rapidly into a defensive shape if possession is lost. Wide Area Control: His defensive collective focuses on controlling space out wide and forcing opponents into congested central zones.

Bristol have signed Kofi Balmer on a perm.

Stephen Welsh away to Swansea apparently

The Asst VAR questioned if it was a clear handball also. Its similar to the Just tackle at Parkhead where VAR is giving leading statements and when the ref raises concerns to them, they are batted down.
-
VAR show at 6pm 🍿 Lets see what they've been saying in the Celtic game
-
There was talk of the Just WC money going to his previous club as part of his transfer agreement. Unsure on how accurate that is though

The £1m is wages I think. I think the report is lost in translation. Yesterday the reports were saying Toulouse would pay £1mto land him, but that is surely salary. Otherwise we have won a watch.

Its a condition of entry not to enter the field of play etc There's presumably relatively little the club can do though other than not allowing them tickets. Little to stop others buying them though and there would be no recourse (unlike a court-imposed banning order) *InterestingIy football banning orders can cover watching games in the pub etc as welll

Martin O'Neill car crash interview with Talksport yesterday and getting rightly called out. Sutton making a tit of himself on 5 Live Gary Lineker has doubled down

Watching it back on Sky the commentator says there was difficulty with the communication and you see Beaton fiddling with his earphone. Even more reason to stick with the onfield decision.
-
The VAR Review show is expected to be Fri 22nd. In previous shows Collum has suggested: >That a hand in front of face may not be punishable >That stills are unhelpful because they lack context >Onfield decision cannot be overturned unless it can be 100% proven otherwise. They have fudged the decision, but will try an justify it, no doubt with contradictory statements to previous explanations.

Never in doubt! Tremendous effort this season!

Maeda bundled into Ward much more heavily than that and the ref waved play on
