  1. Goals were on Sky Sports News this morning. Forbes' second looks even better when you see it back. As someone said he does look like a young Ferguson. Just needs to bulk up a bit, but that will come in time. Jennings had a nightmare start but after that got stuck in. If I remeber correctly he picked out Slane with a cracking pass for his goal. Once he is fully fit will be a good addition for us. Best I have seen Murphy play, not just his goals but his technique etc. Defence is still a bit of a worry though, although the boy Hutchison gives us another option. Did quite well considering.

Ian Ross scored the winner at the Cooper end (I think). Scott Howie ended up with a depressed fracture of the cheekbone.

Richard Gough, diving header OG... belter. Was late 80's/easrly 90's. Great laugh. Think Wishart scored also.
  4. As said you just have to trust gannon's judgement. It goes the other way too...players like Juninho, Thomas Gravesen, Nono Capucho et al have not cut it in the SPL and these guys are seasoned internationalists.
  5. Seriously though. Even if he is from league 2 he would be hard pushed to be as bad as some of the shite that is in the SPL.
  6. Only as part of a calorie controlled diet
  7. Dont think anything could be done to Motherwell as they would just say they were given the impression he was out of contract. If it turned out we had to play compo., we could just cancel the transfer as it was an "unfair contract" on the player/agents part (ie withholding information etc). ????
  8. Link They seem to be looking for compensation. Dont know how far they will get as he didnt actually sign the contract. Just looks as if they have been done by the agent.

  10. Interview with Humphrey: Official Site He is available for Thursday
  11. To be fair, as long as we play some decent stuff and comfortably avoid relegation that'll do me this season. Anything else a bonus. Transition year and all that.
  12. Celtic... Greetin Rangers...Greetin
  13. Oh Well. All's not lost... as long as we dont have a Nancy style capitulation in the home leg.
  14. No Scottish team ever turned over a first leg defeat eh? We could be in line to do it twice in a row. FTOF
  15. Get the boy Humphrey set about them second leg
  16. Ref gave pen. Sutton Scored. Ref ordered re-take. Sutton Missed
  17. Could be a cracking signing financially as well if he turns it on here and gets a move.
  18. Aye, looks promising, especially as previously stated, Villa were in for him. From february: Aston Villa are chasing Shrewsbury winger Chris Humphrey, skysports.com understands. Humphrey has attracted the interest of a host of clubs following a number of eye-catching performances this season. Scouts have been flocking to the Prostar Stadium to cast an eye over the player, with Villa among the interested onlookers. Villa are now believed to be ready to follow up their interest with a firm move for the jet-heeled wide-man in order to steal a march on their rivals. Humphrey is out of contract in the summer and with Shrewsbury confirming they have shelved contract talks with all players, they could risk losing the former West Brom youngster for a small compensation fee at the end of the season
