Kinda wish I had their bank balance though......!
Took it with the pinch of salt you have to when folk drop rumours or "what they've heard". Hope that "mole" at Everton is digging a good deal to get Duke back here for pre-season.....
I had someone say to me this morning that Rangers were very interested in the Duke and talks have already taken place. I'll believe it if it happens, but I sincerely hope not.
The same person mentioned something about Craig Brown and an upstairs role at Parkhead.
Silly season right enough?
Sheffield Star says it's a two-year-deal, sure it said elsewhere it was 3.....
Two-year O'Brien dealPremium Article !
By Neil Goulding
Barnsley
BARNSLEY director Don Rowing has revealed the club have agreed a two-year deal with Motherwell winger Jim O'Brien.
O'Brien signed a pre-contract agreement with the Tykes last week, but the length of deal was not disclosed by the Championship club.
But Rowing told The Star: "Jim has signed a two-year deal with us, we believe he's going to be a very welcome addition to our squad."
And Rowing also admitted he had been happy to let veteran defender Darren Moore leave a month earlier than contracted with Burton Albion keen to secure his signature.
Rowing added: "We wish Darren the best of luck, we did a deal with him so that he could get things sorted with Burton. He's been a popular player at the club, I'm sure he'll do well for Burton."
My Boss is a season ticket holder there, one of the first thing he asked me was why were there Motherwell fans still there after the final whistle. Soon advised him of otherwise!
Probably......
The final table proved just how well behaved we were, and how much others were simply just thugs. Interstingly, Falkirk had no red cards throughout the league season......
1Motherwell 36 1 38
2Celtic 51 4 59
3Hamilton Academical 60 1 62
4Kilmarnock 62 1 64
5Falkirk 65 0 65
6Rangers 58 5 68
7St Mirren 59 5 69
8Hibernian 62 4 70
8St Johnstone 68 1 70
10Dundee United 60 9 78
11Aberdeen 73 10 93
12Heart of Midlothian 76 9 94
I can't understand why the Scandanavians are always in the top five, taking the first four positions this year (Scotland fifth). Anytime I've seen a team from those countries they aint anything but well-behaved.
Looking at the action shots on the official site, it looks like Craggs is thinking "why the f*ck are we applauding this shite on the park?".........
Official Piccies
Should we get the Euro place next week, then it makes today's result all the sweeter. To spoil yet another party is just terrific, but it also underlines the spirit of the team.
If United win the Cup, Hibs will have to possibly play one of this lot......

Big drop in wages but good signing-on fee, then the likelihood that he might well get a big, big move next Summer, or down to Everton and off to a Championship team where he might well only get a bit-part game every so often. The fact he continually mentions wanting to stay (unlike others still to sign) says a whole lot to me.
I honestly cannot see Ross County raising it for a second time on the big Hampden pitch. Dundee United WILL win next Saturday and I think Ross County might well get a tonking.
The amount of pish that McCann is coming out with, "It's a club which promotes that kind-off family thing". Complete and utter shite, just after he says it Naismith is with one of his kids....who is adorned with a red hand scarf.
Don't think it's clutching at straws at all. But it's one of those things that won't be given any exposure by the Meejia. Other way round, well.........
Superhuman effort, and wasn't Ibrox a huge damp squib right at the end! Nice to ruin their party again. not quite the result we wanted of course, but despite getting the trophy they'll still feel a shine taken off things.
