I know, boring by comparison! They were also 4-0 down away to Port Vale with about 20 minutes to go once and a late, late goal from a certain John Spencer salvaged a 4-4 draw. Indeed, with just over 5 minutes left, QPR trailed 1-4.... Goals: Glover (24) 1-0; Mills (35) 2-0; Jansson (41) 3-0; Brazier (og 45) 4-0; Holwyn (og 66) 4-1; Impey (85) 4-2; Murray (88) 4-3; Spencer (90) 4-4.

Watching it just now whilst putting it onto DVD as well. Forgot all about this stunning comeback as well from my other team.......... QPR

And Rangers are getting www.pleasegiesyergiro.com/tohelpussignsomebugger instead!

O'Brien won't be wanting to look after himself on Sunday. He wants to give us the perfect parting gift.
-
Guess it would be easier if we say to Everton "look, how much and a percentage of any sell-on fee as well?". Really hope we can get him, ideally and Ruddy too.
-
We should get an absolute fortune then. He was going nowhere until he came to Fir Park! Anyway, good luck down South and how's about a superb going-away present on Sunday Jim?

I was down at 2-6 but consoled myself in the possibility that by pulling a couple of goals back we could ensure (it was 0-0 at Swinecastle at the time, which it remained of course) we still had a better goal difference. Not proud of the first half, but what lingers longest is what happened most recent - and I am hugely proud of the team.

United keep Webster under wraps for the cup final arabs skipper won’t face hibs in last game but will be okay for hampden Published: 07/05/2010 Dundee United captain Andy Webster is out of Sunday’s final game of the season against Hibernian — but will be fit for the Scottish Cup final tomorrow week. The on-loan Rangers man has been suffering from a nerve problem and came off at half-time against Hearts on Wednesday as a precaution. Arabs manager Peter Houston now plans to wrap him in cottonwool until the May 15 final with Ross County, so Webster will be in the stand on Sunday. Houston said: “Andy is fine but he won't be risked on Sunday. “He's been suffering from a nerve problem. It's not serious and we just took him off as a precaution. “I won't take any unnecessary risks with anyone so he'll sit out the Hibs game. Houston laid down the Hampden gauntlet to his squad when he added: “I will probably make a few changes on Sunday but one thing's for sure is that we will be competitive because the lads who come in know this is the last chance to stake a claim for a cup-final place." Arabs midfielder Craig Conway reckons that no one at Tannadice will allow themselves to switch off on Sunday. The Arabs have one eye on Hampden but will be all-out to go into the final on a high. Hibs have to take something from the match in order to stand a chance of finishing fourth – so in addition to wanting to prepare properly for Hampden, Conway knows that United will have to be at the top of their game. He said: “Nobody is pretending we're not thinking about the cup final because it's such a massive game that of course we are. “But it won't stop us approaching Sunday's game properly. “We'll work as hard as normal and be as competitive as we usually are. “Hibs and Motherwell are still fighting it out for Europe so we've got to do our bit by making sure we're at the top of our game. “From our own point of view we can't afford to switch off and then try to get back to a level of performance against Ross County in the cup final at Hampden. “We've got one league game left and we want to go into the Scottish Cup final having beaten Hibernian at Tannadice." Nah, just being positive. You never know in football, just like at 2-6 on Wednesday.....
-
We'll be fine defensively on Sunday. Pa and Archie will sort it out.
-
That wouldn't be Rangers last game would it.........
-
Thought I'd start one for Sunday. It's easily a bigger game for us than them, I know they get the trophy etc but 9 times out of 10 this usually equates to the whole game being a bit of a damp squib and petering out into a draw. I don't think Rangers will be busting a gut, their fans won't be particularly concerned as they've bigger worries than even drawing or losing to Motherwell. I think that we'll match whatever Hibs do on Tayside. Thoughts?

Everton striker Jutkiewicz again declares Motherwell stay hopes Everton striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has again declared he wants to stay with Motherwell after the drama of this week's 6-6 draw with Hibs. It was the young Blues forward who netted Well's final equaliser, so keeping their Europa League hopes alive. Jutkiewicz, 21, beamed: "A big part of the reason I came up here was to play in front of crowds like that and in games like that. "There is no better feeling and it is a big step up from reserve games at Everton. "European football is something everyone wants to be involved in. "I had a little taste of it at Everton - being in squads for UEFA Cup games - and I'd really like it again at Motherwell. "Fingers crossed, we can maintain fourth place and that would be something I could hopefully come back to next season."
-
Yep, If United play anything other than their recognised starting 11 then we'd have a case should we finish fifth and not fourth because they stuck a team of reserves out. Wonder what the punishment would be, though?

Very little appears to have been made of Sutton's part in the Duke's fizzbomb. Most say it was a hopeful punt, I don't - I'm pretty certain he meant to put it where he knew the Duke was running. Very, very underrated player - cheers Sutts.

I was at all three and the Dundee United one was a game which just left you so bitterly angry. Wasn't so pissed at the Aberdeen game, but last night was the ultimate in Motherwell rollercoasters.
-
Thing was, it took a crucial clearance right on the edge of the box by the Hibs defence to prevent Sutton having a go for the seventh just seconds after we'd went 6-6. There were 30 attempts on goal last night, 19 from us and 11 from Hibs.
-
Anyone else think the pitch looked pretty good last night? Still full of the most awful bumps which I think Crags was pissed off at a few times.
-
Think tonight to be honest. Celebrations were wild and of those seen once in a blue moon, amazing and something magical.
-
The real defence turned up during the second half when it began to defend. We don't really need to chase anything on Sunday, though 4th would assure Europe. At 2-6 I thought we'd be as well trying to ask if we an give the points away without having to play but nah, get tore into them.
-
Just watching that bit with Lucas and Nish at the end of the game. Hope someone is looking in on Nish tonight, he might need a bit of watching.......
-
You know, we might have lost the first half 2-4, but we won the second 4-2.....
-
Dundee United won't want to go into a Cup Final on the back of a home defeat. And Hibs face an absolutely monumental task lifting themselves after that in just four days.
-
That was amazing. In 29 years watching Motherwell I have never, ever seen a game like it ever. It was brilliant entertainment, and the team deserve the utmost credit for coming back from 2-6 behind. Shocking period from 1-2 to 2-6, then it the real Motherwell turned up. It was humiliating to be 2-6 at home, but can you imagine how shite it must be to support Hibs right now? Proud as punch of the lads, go get fourth on Sunday now!

Benjalloun is just the same. He's a cheating erse as well.
