  1. According to the stats thus far, Accies have had 10 shots on target compared to our 1, with 6-2 off target. Still, games like this do sometimes have a sting in the tail.....
  2. Good attendance despite the prices really! £22 a pop is a bit of a joke really.
  3. Craigan hat-trick. Man's been threatening to score for ages now!
  4. Aye..... "John, where's yer fecking flag....cannae have the lads going two behind..............."
  5. Looks like he's back down to his proper level this week-end....... SOUTH LEAGUE Haddington Athletic v Blackburn United - Simon MacLean Sauchie v Broxburn Athletic - Graeme Leslie Edinburgh United v Dalkeith Thistle - Michael Banks Harthill Royal v Dunbar United - Scott Jamieson Livingston United v Fauldhouse United - Neil Marshalsey Pumpherston v Stoneyburn - John Gilmour West Calder United v Tranent - Gianluca Marini
  6. Strictly speaking, McGlinchey won't be a Motherwell player either....unless we sign him permanently. Still, we'll still get a wee mention I'm sure.
  7. I guess Forbes might have thought there was a defender right behind him and he had to make sure. He did right, linesman shouldn't be allowed to run the line again if he can't get that one right. Clear as day.

    Ewan Cameron

Cameron should be docked. Crime - a woeful attempt at being a radio presenter. Guilty as charged.
  9. Hope Craig and Archie had a wee word in his shell like....

    Tom Hateley

He, amongst others, are really happy where they are just now. Sure he won't be hard to deal with, just long as we deal soon.

    Ewan Cameron

Cameron's an erse. He's never forgiven us for the LC Semi at Easter Road. Yer team's pesh!
  12. Accies are all but safe....Falkirk are about to apppoint Pressley as manager.
  13. I was at the meeting when we went into administration. For a time those present thought we were doomed, and it seemed like it. Have to say, despite many a bad result over the years, that was the darkest day I have ever known as a Motherwell fan, and one which mustn't ever happen again.
  14. Thing about this one, though, is that it was anything but a close call. Even blindfolded, anyone could see it.
  15. Watching it over and over again just gets me more angry. Compeltely onside, both Craigan and Forbes, no fouls, no nothing. All the Rangers players are pissed off as they have made an erse of it, Referee sees nothing wrong. Only person to blame is the clown linesman. We've been robbed of a famous victory not by anything that happened afterwards, but by this decision alone. Cheat.

    Reynolds

Heard Boyd shouted "keeper" and Reynolds left it. Might seem daft to suggest, but why on Earth would such a good defender (and he is) leave the ball all alone when, in virtually every similar situation, he has hoofed it clear?
  17. Trust us. Had that been up the other end of the park, it would have been a goal. No doubts.
  18. Have to laugh at Wattie, Boyd WAS offside I'm pretty certain back then. And, our entire side stopped soon as the flag went up allowing Boyd a very easy shot on goal.....
  19. I know, just don't like seeing it that's all!
  20. Pics on the official site are interesting, you see Weir clearly gutted at losing the second....only for his friendly linesman to save their erses. Too many pics of their equaliser though...........
  21. Had it been for Rangers, he'd never run the line again. Complete disgrace of a decision.

    Rangers

Jennings for me. Outstanding in the middle.
  23. Delighted with the performance tonight, especially first half. We looked the side on top of the SPL, not that bunch of namby, dirty cheating gits. As for the officials, cheats is simply a word you can't use for some reason, but complete and utter incompetence is about right. I recall an incident when three or four very dirty OTT challenges (including what looked like a two-footer by McCulloch who was already on a yellow) went unpunished in the space of a few seconds before one of theirs falls over under virtually no pressure and the whistle goes. Then Papac gets a yellow for a red card tackle. Thought Jennings was immense tonight, exactly what that midfield needed. O'Brien should've been subbed with about 20 to go, the guy was absolutely shattered and was running on empty. Felt for Reynolds, solid all night but made an arse of it and suffered big-time. Craggs fantastic. The goal which we didn't get would have been plastered all over every single paper, telly, website had it been Rangers who'd been denied. Nothing wrong with it, legit goal and at that 2-0 was game over, they were not getting back into it. Hateley's free-kick was brilliant. We've a huge amount to be proud of this evening, if I were one of them I'd be in hiding.....
  24. Sense prevails. Saint Mirren won't risk anyone for a league game ahead of the big cup final for them, and it stops us having a free Saturday. SPL and sense....won't last.
  25. That M77 up from Ayr is going to be one busy road tonight..........
