  1. A pana fan on fpc said theyre expecting a 35-40k attendance.
  2. Might have a few interested, depending on how much a seat will cost.
  3. I'd agree with this. Higdon isn't one for a bursting counter attack, which I think will be our only hope. Looking at this objectively, nothing against Higdon in the main.
  4. This isn't a Higgy bash, but does anyone think he's just too slow for this type of game? I'd much rather see Ojamaa and Murphy up front. Tin hat on.
  5. Really want to go to this but don't think we could justify more than 300 quid.. Need to get hunting
  6. Brilliant that it's home leg first! If it's on the tuesday that's pretty much a perfect draw IMO!
  7. I can't believe the lack of enthusiasm for Ojamaa. He has by far the best scoring rate at the club and pretty much saved our season when he came in!
  8. What's the cheapest you can get the train for?

    Everton

I cannae believe I'm goni miss Faddy Surely we can get him JUST for the CL games?!
  10. Hardly filling me with enthusiasm for the new season tbh.
  11. I doubt it, I think the main differenece is the pace of the prem is A LOT faster than anything up here. As much as they talk about our game being really physical and gritty, the prem is full of proper athletes - you have to have the strength and stamina to survive there.

    Bookies

They should definitely look into getting those kiosks back up and running, assuming there's nothing complicating things. Pretty off topic but surely if there was ever a time to reintroduce selling beer at games it's now, with no old firm games and the desperate need for cash..? I know it's pie in the sky but is there actually a law against it or is it just SPL rules?
  13. A grand each? I thought they were meant to be skint over there?!
  14. See if we somehow win a one of our european ties, we'll be in the money anyway, so I might hold off with the charity for now...
  15. They offer buttons. They pay the absolute minimum they can get away with. They should be expected to show a bit of responsibility, it's in their interest not to strangle the game up here anyway.
  16. We care about the future of our club as a respectable sporting entity. You on the other hand wish to have a club which is simply a prop in the old firm pantomime, merely existing to serve two teams which will never be allowed to fail.
  17. Fuck me. Who is making a profit here? We're effectively on the brink and you say the club are 'profiteering'. If this is how the fans react to high ticket prices for a massive game, I worry the board will just think, 'you know what, there's no chance the fans are willing to put the extra cash in that we need' and vote sevco in.
  18. Even if it's against teams who are effectively placed there by the authorities rather than earning it, and who will be kept above us at all costs?
  19. I just bought a season ticket today, and bought a shirt aswell, with the financial hardship the club are going to have to face in mind. If the club turn their backs on the vote and vote yes I will feel personally ripped off and fuking raging.
  20. I seen somewhere that the prize for getting into the play off is 2 million! Thats not even considering the money from europa group stages. So aye, it is POTENTIALLY our biggest ever game just on the cash prize alone.
  21. NOOO THE HIGDON SYSTEM IS INFALLIBLE! I'm amazed at how many people omit Ojamaa from our starting line up. He's arguably our most creative and mobile player.
  22. I agree with it entirely, we need something radical to shake things up. On the point of relying on others, we'd be relying on every other team rather than just one or two, so might not be that risky. Aint done the maths though. The key in boosting attendances is away fans I'd say, and equal gate splits would be the best way to encourage that. Clubs would be more inclined to run busses and encourage fans to get to away games aswell as home.
  23. My ultra cyinical side says the clubs plans are simply to trick everyone into buying season tickets with their 'no' votes before revealing a new way to parachute in the newco, hoping they get as much of both the fans and rangers money as they can.
  24. Well fucking said. That game against rangers was one of our most exciting attacking performances of the season. Does anyone honestly look forward to watching Higdon play next season? He's OK, right, he 'does a job', but if we can replace him with a mobile forward it can completely change our team for the better, especially against higher quality opposition IMO.
