I'm not sure this is that true outside motherwell. Other teams fans seem to be fairly excited at the new league with no rangers etc. I think it's really just the contrast between success last season, getting the CL qualifiers, travelling around Europe in the sun - and then suddenly we're getting pumped off sevco and celtic and being a bit shit in general.

I think the freezing fucking cold made it seem worse than it was tbf!

The one issue here is that the stewards told everyone that season tickets would be valid. If they'd made it clear they wouldn't be there'd be no issue. The stewards being given that message is the only problem.

Soul comes from the history of a ground. Pretty much no new grounds have soul or character.

Why do people think we could afford anything other than what St Mirren have? Plus the sale of the Fir Park land surely wouldn't cover the costs of building a new stadium, so redeveloping Fir Park might well be the cheaper option.

I can't really see past a shitty flat pack stadium if we did move tbh. Also, surely moving stadium would cost a lot more than to get a new roof on the east etc. And things like the seat not being cleaned doesn't really point towards a move for me.

Surprised no ones chimed in with how much of an over reaction this is. Taking off the c&a specs, Celtic were very good, passed the ball very well. We weren't great but i don't buy this 'it was a shite performance' from us. We were standard, if that had been against Inverness or so we would've won IMHO. As for McCall going, pish. Ojamaa should've been on a lot earlier, Humphrey off earlier. Fairly run of the mill defeat to a good Celtic team tbf. Randolph was immense.

I honestly think the players were well up for it, it was just the tactic of going about very cautiously and patient attackingwise, whereas The Rangers went at us with urgency whenever they got the ball.

Should this not be "hated". I hate how they spawned a new club possibly even more disgusting than the last.
