  1. we have a better manager now and that's very very evident to see, while i worry at backroom stuff (unsettled players) I'm loving the freshness Gannon is giving, no ones place is safe regardless how you play its so to speak horses for courses. How different and refreshing is this although frustrating for players results speak for themselves. Still undefeated even after playing the champions, rather cheesy but the future looks bright I AM A FAN keep it up we are getting fortress fir park back again.

So so proud of the boys today they fought bit, snapped and snarled for every ball, i hate defeat but can take it when we show so much passion and commitment.

    Ps Mark who??????????????

  2. went for yassin ... thought he had a good debut, found space well down the right hand side, although wasn't gettin as much passing as he woulda liked and his pace is frightening ;)

altough i went for the assasin, everyone played extremely well todayy.

keep the heads up boys :D

Snap and this guy looks frighteningly quick and fit fuk them all when hes up to speed so to speak.

  3. The past is the past. I started this to say thank you to Gannon guy has done what he said he would and I for one like that. Boyle has pissed me off in the past but the McGoo signing impressed me at the time as a "thinking out the box" bit of business. Gannon again looks like a great bit of business and lets face it thats what football is today, business! For me Boyle should be cold, cash driven, and make unpopular decisions and most of all keep us in the BLACK, something Mr. Chapman before him always made sure of. If anybody on here thinks JB is not committed to this club you should go get your head seen to, as I said the past is the past. As for now and the future I think for us at Motherwell it is bright and I like that too.

NEMO let it go mate chill out and you might even live a bit longer :P

Aye m8 i need to let it go and take a chill pill, away to watch the Scotland game so doubt it will last long ;)

  4. I'm neither pro nor anti Boyle, but furfuxake gie the man a break !!

the man has made mistakes, learnt from them , and I would assume never make them again.

thats life ! suck it up

I take it that you have never in your life made a mistake, and have always managed to please everyone all of the time ??

    thought not -_-

Does MMG get the same symathy???

Short memories were we not days from going bust and he signs a new manager who does well, and hes a fookin saint again Fook me we truly are fickle.

Praise to the manager but Fuk Boyle and no apologies for that.

  5. Afraid i have a longer memory than 3 months fuk Boyle and i wont even bother with a Tin hat. He wants to maximise his asset for selling on and fair play as that's business and im not going to kiss his arse over it i remember too many fuk ups remember he promised us a new pitch not this season but the one before?

One swallow hardly makes a summer.

But in Gannon i have huge faith (although i hear frequently the dressing room ain't happy) however if he keeps delivering as he has done up till now he will always get my support as hes OUR manager, But glory to Boyle FUK OFF who took us to our lowest depths ever and praise him for getting us out of it.

I think not NO MEANS NO even if he had a change of heart,......... not because of the fans but................ because his beloved Celtic couldn't fill the Cooper.

Fire away as is my view not a popular one just now as we are doing well but, i have a long memory. Fuk off Boyle

  6. Simple

The way he whored himself to any prospective club and his utter shambles of the St midden game. MMG for every 10 good things you do it only takes 1 terrible judgement to undo it and lets face it you rode youre luck jumped ship and left us worse off than when you came in, ok we finished off better than under Maurice flop pass but what a fookin rebuild has had to be done cause of youre sell sell sell but not buy buy buy. To take credit for selling players is truly pathetic if you signed one and we sold him for millions then fair enough, but you didnt so fuk off you got us 3rd and credit to you for that but that's all.

"I just didn't have the desire to rebuild a team at Motherwell again. It was better for them, and me, if I made a fresh start somewhere else."

This was the club that be says he has a special bond with

  7. I don't think it is the end for Crag's and I hope it's not but I would say that all is not well with the relationship between Captain and Manager at the moment.

As someone said about, Gannon appears to want snappy passes played on the deck. As we know Craigan likes to play long balls and his accuracy at times is woeful. Watching Gannon at some of the Euro games, you could see his frustrations when Craigan was playing these balls and what's more he was no shy about letting him know.

For me the alarm bells from yesterday was not the change at Half Time but Gannons comments on why he made the change. He mentioned wanting players on the park who were showing energy and enthusiasm. That suggests that he felt Craigan was showing neither.

I think that if Craigan wants a future at the club he will have to swallow his bride a bit and change to play the way the manager wants. The question is can he do this after playing a certain way for so long?

Finally it's a high risk stratagy if Gannon does make an enemy of Craigan. If things go well then no problem but if we are struggling supporters and the media (as Craigan is a bit of a media darling) will turn and use Craigans absence as the cause of the problems (as per Christmas last year).

I hope Craigan does adapt and goes on to have the best season he has had in years.

    Totally agree

  8. I'm so so downhearted as i love the guy to bits, he wears his heart on his sleeve and would run through brick walls for the club (have you heard him on the radio, you cant help but love him)

But enough is enough thanks and good luck.

  9. Just back from the match and so so disappointed but very grateful for the point. They ripped us a new arsehole in the 1st halve but we did ourselves more credit in the 2nd.

Attack was fantastic and exhilarating at time but defence and GK was shambolic. Craigan you're times up but we have to make do till we get better i suppose.

    A truly frustrating day.

  10. Without being over sentimental, time to go defence was shocking today, too old and too slow a truly great servant but being subbed spoke a million words.

A legend but no room for sentiment please move on and I'm not sorry if it offends as I'm not sentimental i want 3 points every week not one.

I for one dint and never will doubt his commitment but sometimes sentiment can cloud.

  11. Someone posted that the new signings were from England and should be fit as the league strats soon.

Theres a massive difference between fitness and match fitness give them a chance before judging. Regardless or result what a pre season we will hit the SPL flying IMHO :)

  12. Undoubtedly the Romanians were a cut well above us and fully deserved to win. Like all top sides they have very good technical skills and terrific movement off the ball. They'd go through the SPL like a dose of cascara! No disgrace to lose to teams of this quality.

That said, there was a lot of talk last season after Nancy did the same to us at FP about lessons to be learned, blah, blah, blah. And no doubt the same stuff will be trotted out again. IMO this is just spurious lip service. If our players in particular and and Scottish players in general want to improve then they need to start putting the work in and improve their technical skills and managers need to start drumming it into them about the importance of the players who don't have the ball in terms of their running and movement. Not singling anyone out but what improvement has Hammell, Reynolds or O'Brien made since then? Sorry, but none.

Gannon has quickly sussed a number of our players out already and it will take time for the new guys to settle in. He's sorted the GK position out. Next he needs to sort out the rest of the defence. For the past couple of seasons this has been the weakest part of the team and was scandalously neglected by the previous management team. We concede goals far too easily - sure we let in 3 tonight but at least against a high quality side but look at the 3 we let in against Llannelli and Flamurtari. Craigan needs to be shipped out, Reynolds is not a centre-back, Hammell is good going forward but a train wreck as a defender and the young lad Saunders is far too lightweight (seen more fat on a butchers pencil). Stick with yong Hutchison, move Reynolds to left back and look for a centre-back and a right back.

If we don't sort the defence out then we will continue to leak stupid and easy goals regardless the quality of the opposition.

Far too sensible an idea im afraid :) , not just because of the OG but Craigs thank you very very much but time to move on and thank fuk a decent looking keeper at last.
