whats this about the horse.I was away to Aberdeen that day and when i got back the Hup lee had just reopened (that's what the guy behind the counter said) he also said there had been police horses charges down the street, as he was there have no reason to disbelieve him.

Being an old man myself, I wasn't involved, however in July 2002 Motherwell played Cardiff City in a pre-season friendly at Fir Park, (1-0 Adams). With Motherwell having a strong Leeds Utd allegiance, Friday's Sun featured a front page story indicating Motherwell fans were out to extract revenge for the way Leeds fans had been treated at an FC cup-tie at Ninian Park.
Large turnout of SS that day and there were indeed several clashes before and after the match. OB were kept very busy that afternoon.
Yep i seem to remember the Hup Lee having to close as there were so many clashes outside it, which were dispersed by mounted police charges.

One major concern was Fraser he just didn't look comfortable, the ball he spilled in the 2nd halve at the free kick was worrying. I really hope it clicks with his defence and he can relax and gain confidence as he looked very panicky and hesitant at times.
Still job done roll on.

On wiki it says in a round about way hes not afraid to speak his mind and tells the fans how it is no matter who it upsets. How the hell did we choose a manager that will be honest and not shy in shirking away from the facts

I don't know enough about the guy to get too excited about his appointment, anyone care to enlighten me as to why he is a good appointment in their eyes? Would have been nice to have got a name so to speak, not to say that they are always successful

You're 'avin a laugh right? We're fucking Motherwell FC! Many people on here *looks at the auld yins* bought season tickets hoping that they wouldn't get relegated. Whoever said it on here a day or so ago was right, some Motherwell fans have been pampered too long.
If we lose our players, then the next line of Clarksons/Quinns/Reynolds will need to step up to the plate and knuckle down and battle away in the SPL. Even if we lose all three players, I very much doubt we'll be relegated this season.
Ok i get youre points and maybe ive over reacted to a point, but im just so frustrated at the lack of investment in the club so why should i invest my own hard earned money when those at the top wont?
Ok there are some players there to take over those that go but who replaces them if they get injuredhow badly did we struggle without craigs? As for being pampered when did that happen as i cant remember.
When i say i give up its more out of frustration as no doubt ill be there week in week out i just cant see the point in investing when the club wont. PAG for me i think.

My point exactly! Many were seduced by the sexy talk of outside income keeping the club going. Load of pish from the outset. Heard it here as well, how we should incorporate things like that into plans for a new stadium, like we've hunner's o' tourists n businessmen on expenses jaunts coming tae Motherwell. Home to roost for airy fairy nonsense ideas.
Don't think Dakota just down the road does that badly. It is a prime site (ravenscraig) very close to all major routes and coming off the motorway would be very easy to find.While no where in the same league as Dakota i think there's a niche for the middle of the road punters that don't want to pay huge prices but want something better than a travelodge.
Not looking through claret and Amber specs but this is what id choose Dakota too expensive and travelodge cheap but nasty, middle range comfort and price for me.

You have to love the Irony of this. The official site don't want to release transfers until done and dusted with no comebacks. This was managed before the press got hold of it and released. Now it would appear that there MAY be the chance of comebacks, which is completely not of motherwell's making. Just so ironic that a welcome thread now being dominated with legal stuff.
