Very sad news. His posts, and details of his health battles, I remember very well. Despite the problems his posts always appeared upbeat. RIP.
Exactly this, he had a great attitude and seemed like a great guy.
Thoughts go out to those who knew him in real life.

Having said that, the reaction in JDs when Hately scored in Odense was unbelievable! Something I've never experienced as a Motherwell fan, watching a game in a mobbed pub and going mental when we scored.
I wasn't at JDs for that but that has to be up there for the most I've celebrated a goal when not at the stadium. Can only think of Faddy in France and Jutkiewicz v Hibs to match it

This. You say the stats may be useless but are still there yet I can't ever remember you giving a stat that points to a positive result....such as our superb record vs Aberdeen in recent seasons which has much more relevance than saying we haven't beat them in the cup at home since 1958.
Anyway I predict 3-1 'well. Murphy, Higdon and Law
