In the past few years I've always thought the same Well_Jaggy but even the worst of the seeded teams will progress 90% of the time against us. An all British tie will bring decent income with what you'd think would be a guaranteed sell out at FP and ITV/ESPN picking it up.
Also, if it was Newcastle then the overwhelming majority of dosser who want to go to the away leg will be able to afford it/not need much time off work. Yes it'd be better if we get the big teams in the groups but I would be very satisfied getting them now since the chances of us making the groups against even the lowest ranked seeded team are very low.
I'm usually an optimist but I think I've come to realise I need to take the claret&amber specs off sometimes.

Thanks, thought it would have been closer to the 1000 mark but nearly 600 is still fairly decent for a club with 4000 season tickets.
Getting a wee bit excited about the match now, don't hold out much hope but as with a lot of dossers come kickoff I'll be liking our chances

Brother & I arrived 4 am Sunday morning, had a feww hours nap then went to the WEE DRAM 23 Konopisopoulou & Logothetidi 1154 Ampeloki Athens. 1minute walk from Panormou Metro Station. ( Belou Exit.
We met the owner Ross and had a few pints+an all day breakfast, the place is lovely and has all the beers on tap + can easily hold 200+,hope to have a few drinks with the lads Tuesday afternoon or evening let us know if any ones interested.
2.50 euros for scottish pints
