You are probably correct but I don't see them playing any friendlies that they'd take more seriously than a competitive cup game, even if they did then we shouldn't really care. And let's hope Celtic don't take the next round seriously!

The format for the league cup is OK, although it remains to be seen how long clubs take it seriously in future seasons. I can see certain teams worrying more about their glamour friendlies than games against Annan.
Those certain teams will never be in at that stage, it'll be teams who would be playing a friendly against Annan anyway

I think they've been a breath of fresh air and any concerns beforehand have disappeared.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think those expecting us to get £1million plus for Marvin are going to be disappointed.
When you see how little Dundee got for Kane Hemnings, I think clubs in our situation have to listen to decent offers, people know this, and will come in low.
I think £500-600k might even be optimistic, although for once we hold a bit of the power as we've not let his contract run down.
Kane Hemmings release clause was met so Dundee had to sell at that price.
If all the chat about multiple clubs down south being interested in Marv is true then I'd be disappointed if he went for anything less than £800k

If I were Craigan I would stay exactly where I was. Good pundit role with BT and most likely a long term job at u20s. Moving to Manager/assistant world means moving on every few years mkst likely.

100% this. I hate all seeding in cup football (including Champs League), if you're good enough to win the tournament then you are good enough to beat every other team so no need for an extra advantage.
