The Ashy was next to the bings, (where it got its name), at the end of North Lodge Ave just before it meets Manse Road. George St park was a 5 min walk away. Playing football there was taboo late 60's early 70's, that's why we tended to congregate at the Ashy.

You can put away the pointy sticks girls, what I'm suggesting is that an opinion from across the pond, (or indeed the Highlands for that matter, thank you Buxe), will prove to be inconsequential. Local voices aint being taken into account, what chance one 1000's of miles away !!!

Strongly agree with this. I can't believe 11-1 will be retained. They've complained about it for long enough - the very same fukkwits who voted it in - and now they want to retain it in this all or nothing nonescence. The team have played more to Higdon's strengths this season than last, and that is what a team is meant to do ---- play to each other's strengths. He is reaping the rewards for effective team work, and is deserving of much applause for his contribution this season.
