I'm with this.. ........................... The players have roughly 14hrs in a cramped charter plane to endure, an overnight in a strange bed and a demanding 90mins of european football in a hot and humid location, within a 42hr period. It took me days to recover from the Athens trip. A combination of dehydration and perhaps the most uncomfortable flight in my life took its toll. While I didn't agree with last Thursday's formation/tactics, and blame them for our defeat, I'm happy for SM to leave who he wants to behind.

Likewise. Sutton will score, and make goals for us, of that I have no doubt. However, as with Higdon, we will need to play to his strengths and I'm afraid leaving him up front on his own is not the way to goals and victories. We've lost half of, and had to replace, last season's successful team. We won our first game of the season, away to a team with a far larger support and potential than ours. While not the greatest of matches, thats a damn good start in my book.

Not exactly a classic. Guys looked tired, and not surprisingly after their efforts on Thursday night.
