  1. Am going regardless buddy, have been bullied in to it. Once in a lifetime event. I do hope the rumours about Fenerbache & PAO are true however .............. and Brugge would simply be a superb destination.
  2. I certainly don't have the same grasp of our mother-tongue as Stuart Cosgrove, (who put things very eloquently on Saturday's Off the Ball), but some things - outwith the Sporting Integrity considerations - to ponder over:- this is no NewCo it's simply a repackaging of the OldCo - same stadium, same name, same strips, same ethos, same bigoted and narrowminded sectarian support, and with the same attitude, greed and financial/voting demands. No Club will be required to give a reason for their Vote. I say to them that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to exorcise the loathing cemented thru decades of being the victim of Rangers' bullyboy and pillaging tactics. This is an opportunity to implement much needed change in our game. Change that has been stiffled by the Bigot Brothers, who want their cake and eat it ................... and who would have jumped ship at the drop of a hat had the Atlantic League taken off or the EPL beckoned, and who's to say they wouldn't do in future ----- then what ? Without Rangers the cake may be smaller, but we'll get a bigger slice, and Celtic will no longer have such a powerful hold on things without their bosom buddies. The League will be more competitive, and attendances will increase ................ and so too may sponsorship. Vote No -------- for change, and to save our game. Vote Yes ------- to let the bully back into the playground, for the collapse of the Well Society, for a drop in Season Ticket sales, and a vastly reduced fan base............and the demise of MFC.
  3. If you have the capability and inclination to voice your Protest, I say go for it. Don't let the opportunity pass you by.
  4. Thats coz yer a pretty boy and have seen Midnight Express
  5. Aye, Arsenal Kiev's old stadium was demolished to make way for the new build and have been sharing Dynamo's ground for a few seasons now. Think my preference is:- Kiev, Fenerbache, Copenahgen, Panathonaikos ................. could be my last ever Well game.
  6. Don't forget you will need to factor in the change in timescales. That's the airfares now, but in 4 weeks time the prices may have gone up considerably. Booking any flight some 10 days in advance is going to attract a premium fare. Can anyone confirm if Dynamo Kiev will be moving to the new stadium ?
  7. not like nylons then ?????
  8. howz the material guys ????
  9. If my mate wasn't adam ant about flying, would consider it myself. Great way to travel in Europe. Did the train all the way from Elgin to Nancy, and Scotrail apart thoroughly enjoyed it, especially once on Eurostar. Certainly beats the airport experience these days
  10. This EBT scheme was apparently loans given to players/managers. I hope the Liquidators ask the buggars for the money back, plus interest.
  11. Good grief mate, it's post/pre season .............. with the biggest game of our history only weeks away, why not let folks discuss the iffs/buts/maybes of CL and/or Europa League. Just look at that list of teams being mentioned in the same sentence as our wee Motherwell. What a mouthwatering prospect. Who would ever have thought it. It's pub chat, and no harm in it. Besides it makes a pleasant change from all things Govan way does it not.
  12. Who the fuck are you ???? Last week you think you are Gok Wan, and this week you think you're a Moderator. Who/what you gonna be next week ?
  13. Green&Whyte, (how ironic), and Dumb&Dumber are making a complete mockery of the SPL. Its time the SFA booted the fukkers oot for taking our game into disrepute.
  14. Don't think this NewCo is a done deal by a long shot. Duff & Phelps alias Smith & Jones (for the over 45's), have apparently agreed terms with Mr Green in the region of £5.5M for the transfer of Assets to the NewCo ...... which just so happens to be D&P's bill, allegedly. Conservatively speaking: Ibrox, Murray Park, the Albion Ground, and the playing staff have to be worth a lot more than that. + From my 20yrs banking experience I know that Liquidators number one objective is to realise a maximum price for asset sales, in order that Creditors may get some money back, so the Asset Transfer as being currently boasted by Smith & Jones is a lot of bollox.
  15. Bricktop Fukk, the CL Simplified thread was confusing enough .................. without thinking about the ifs/buts/maybes of this. Besides, I believe we can win thru this CL 3rd round quaifier ................ then Europa League, (at least) is guaranteed. Go on the 'Well
  16. My stance also, and that includes leaving the Well Society.
  17. The heat will be a factor in Istanbull also, and perhaps to a slightly lesser extent in Kiev, which does worry me .............. anything over 25c and I'm kunted
  18. and put it on top of that mound up the Carfin end of the 'Craig ........ next to where the new FP is going
  19. have always fancied visiting the Acropolis.
  20. Exactly. It's a foreign tour. I wear my kilt on foreign tours, beit rugby/football/golf or a wedding. Besides Cloudy, if I could get Photobucket to work we could all see that I look better with my kilt on than you do with your shirt off
