Exactly ........... I was in Inverness today and the pitch looked in glorious condition - credit to ICTFC - and there is minimal snow/ice around the ground. Inverurie was in a far worse state in and around Harlaw Park.
So what fudd made this decision ? Picture some spotty faced bint fast-tracked thru the ranks to satisfy the sexist left, someone's who's never been a football fan. Common sense, obviously sadly lacking at HC, would be to have folks travelling on a Sat, many using public transport ---- rather than midweek mostly in cars post-match down the A9 late at night when it is less safe.
If I were MFC and ICTFC I'd be rather unchuffed with this. Both clubs will now lose a stack of cash as the eventual midweek gate will be substantially less than would have been this Saturday.
If Teuchter OB stand by this philosophy of theirs then this game could struggle to be played by the end of March ............... Q a toss of coin scenario
PRIX
Big white building that used to be Bank of Scotland Inverness High Street Branch before them asswipes from Halifax stuck their nebbs in and fekk'd everything up
No time for surveys ....................... However, my answer would be No. MFC are better than most with their pricing policies, but on the whole football is far too expensive these days, especially given the quality of the product on view.
Where's S & J's . I'll drink with any fellow 'Well fan ........... and I don't hold grudges. Just call me a "cock" on arrival and we can get on with the drinking
Not been in for a while ............ but for a pre-match beer(s), (and food if needsbe), not a night out.
The Sports bar is chokka when we take 100 to Longman, let alone 1500(ish). Think the Phoenix has banned 'Well fans. There's the Blackfriars across the road I suppose or up the seedy wee lane to the Keg
Suppose it depends what time my train gets in, and where I'm dragged to thereafter.
Sorry mate Not sure where I'm going for a pint. Reckon Academy Street could be chokka, especially down the bottom end. Is there still a Weatherspoons opposite the Hootananny in Church Street ?
Could be us Gaidhealtachd Dossers will be the away end. Gaag, the Shaka Clan, (Shaka Clan, Shaka Clan, Shaka Clan ), Master Blackwood, Ross visiting Elgin for his nasms, the Aberdeen mob, and Netherton's uncles ...... get yer singing voices ready
Em southern softies think it the frozen north up here unaware that the Gulf Stream - beaten back by Arctic currents, snakes it's way into the Moray Firth thus ensuring Saturday's game will be on
Many said I should give you a slap some even offered to do it for me. However, I'll settle for this hat eating malarky ......... You're a Chef aren't you
Road south out of Inverness was shut this afternoon, although if they fail to get the A9 open before Saturday I'd suggest the Artic has moved several hundred miles south.
It's all if's and buts's at the moment but at least some common sense has prevailed and pay at the gate is an option.
How about ........
to the tune of My Old Man
I'm in a hotel in Fort William,
and I see a ground,
but I don't know who plays there,
Is there anyone to help me around ? (repeat-repeat-repeat)
