  1. Invernessians are confident it will be on it would appear.
  2. As for Gus ? ................... No No and No again.
  3. Mr C ??? I'd love the game to be on this Sat, as knowing my luck I'll be away on Skye or Oban or the likes for the re-schedule
  4. My thoughts too. No let up in the cold snap of recent weeks, if anything it's got colder during the day. Snowing heavily again as I speak, although I'm not in Inverness we do tend to share similar weather paterns............though not as much rain. I can see the playing of this fixture a repeat of last year's Inverurie antics.
  5. we've already said enough
  6. and it's not so long ago someone took a wee trip to Scandinavian stadiums to get design ideas.
  7. You and me both mate but do we really want 'Well fans of the decades to come having this very same debate about FP ? In order to maintain our status on the park, we will have to progress off it.
  8. It's a converted covered terrace, and holds a hell of a lot of very fond memories for me before and after the seats were installed. I would shed a tear if it was to go, just like I did when they knocked down the Knowetop End ..... but that was progress. We moved from Roman Road and from Parkhead Street, to secure the long term future of the Club.... it's called progress. If we stay at Fir Park then we deny future generations of Motherwell fans the benefits we realised because of the foresight of previous officials of the Club.
  9. Every post season ........... money down the drain
  10. Problem with new build is the foundations would have issues due to the old mine shafts. My design, with the help of Malf's artistic skills, is based on the Molde Stadion in Norway. A 3 sided C -shape with 11,000 seats on 2 tiers. No Executive boxes, as in the drawing though, but an open concourse between both tiers with access to all supporters facilities;- toilets, food and drink stalls/bars, and retail outlets. The 4th side would house the main Club building, which would encorporate;- Club offices, Players facilities, Media centre, hotel/leisure complex, 2 tiers of executive boxes with viewing galleries and a central seated area for club officials and guests. The sale of FP would assist, as would contributions from partner agencies such as the hotel/leisure group. Then there's the franchising of food/drink and retail outlets within the complex which would contribute additional revenue streams. It's easy ............ just need to win Euromillions and donate the cash on the proviso my design comes to reality
  11. Pretty sure my nephew's school in Hamilton had a sports shirt day where Rangers/Celtic colours were not allowed. He wore his 'Well top and had a great time.
  12. If I had my way it'd be like this ............ with plenty of facilities for use before during and after the match.
  13. Reality check required...... Just how much is spent each year maintaining the Phil O'Donnell stand ? And now the East Stand looks like it's also becoming a financial liability. The slope on the pitch, the restricted view seats in every stand, the leg-room in the PoD Stand, the lack of all-round decent facilities .................. Fir Park is a midden and no longer fit for purpose. Going forward, MFC needs a new home.
  14. Even I, a seasoned critic of CB, will admit that we could do worse ....... I just don't see anyone out there - who is available - that I'd hand the reins to at the moment. Stability required, and perhaps CB/AK will just be the pairing to provide that.
  15. Oh, it's across the river ! Just round from Caley Club, never even knew there was a pub there. Looked at a house in Greig Street when house hunting up here 7 years back. Lovely house but the close proximity of Caley Club put us off. The auld toon is the area just below The Crown - Castle, Bridge and High Streets. While the Academy, Union, Church Streets triangle is the new toon ............. or so some bloke from Snecky told me.

    Game Off

Me too, and this is but another reason for that wagon to gather momentum
  17. Is it a sell-out ? Relying on a mate sourcing my ticket, although worried about a repeat of last year when my ticket got stranded in Edinburgh
