  1. Not a hope in hell of that happening.

Heavily linked with Ipswich - and the only team he'd come back up here for is Celtic.

So far outwith our reach nowadays unfortunately.

Agreed. He'll be at Ipswich soon. Not the sort of player Cardiff should be letting go, has scored a lot of goals for them, they may have Bellend but he's there for a season. Once again, stupid Welsh bastards.

I'd hate to see him join Celtic.

  2. Egg chasing, want to be english, coal mining, leak eating, sheep shagging bastards.

Hope a few Cardiff fans are reading this thread. To be fair they were giving us pain on their equivalent which I dont understand as they dont really have any defence.

  3. Yasss, first game of the new season and here we fuckin go...

Reynolds this week, who the fuck next week...GET A FUCKIN GRIP....

Enjoyed the game today, but not obviously the result. More positives than negatives IMO... Jesus fuck what am I saying I must be mad coming on here and not having a fuckin pop at somebody I mean there must be one single scapegoat who is solely to blame for todays result.

Fair play, well said. We can build on the 1st half performance and do some defensive and fitness training for Thursday. Reynolds had a poor game but dont think it was bad enough to merit a thread of its own and the slaggins he's being given.

Bunch of sad, moany folk on here that I expect must be amazin at football to be able to dish out some of the comments they do! Stop greetin and support your team instead of slating every fault!

  4. Personally, I would like to hear an explanation.

Leeanne was quick enough to come on here talking about a partnership with a company that would be inspirational and the envy of other clubs supporters. With the greatest of respect to Commsworld, they hardly fit the picture painted by Ms Dempster.

I'm all for open and direct communication between the board and the fans, but, in her position, she should know better than to open her mouth and spout the kind of nonsense she did before the deal was finalised.

    It was totally unprofessional.

It's business, deals fall through all the time. I would give credit to Leeanne for coming out and giving us some info, if it wasnt for the amount of moaning folk were doing on here then I dont think she would have felt the need to come out and update us before the proposed deal was finalized. We have a sponsor now that I personally think looks quite good on the strips and £100k to invest in the squad so stop moaning and be thankful to Ms Dempster for actually managing to secure some precious advertising revenue when at one point it looked like we would be going through the season minus a shirt sponsor and the associated funds.

  5. I thought we were great first half and should've went in at half time two or 3 up. I think second half we looked a bit tired and invited hibs to have a go at us which is dangerous with their attack. No doubt the ref done us no favours with some shocking decisions, he looked at the linesman for ages before he gave them their second goal. I think if we can build on our first half performance and get a bit fitter/sharper we could have a decent season. New guys looked like they will cause teams problems and Humphrey is improving all the time although he is not yet fully match fit and Randolph looks quality. Still would like to see a left winger as didn't feel there was much happening for us down that side. No need to panic yet, I thought loosing the game was harsh on us but a lot of positives to take away.

  6. Had a wee look on the Hibs forum there and they seem worried that we have another tall striker as they feel they are still crap at defending set-pieces. Hopefully this has been noted by Brown and Sutton and Blackman can cause them some problems on Sunday.

  7. I reckon if things go to Brown's plan then we are looking at this as the preferred starting line up. However Humphrey's form of late would suggest he would start at the expense of Saunders with Hateley moving to right back which creates a new problem.

    ------------------Randolph-----------------

    Saunders--Craigan--Reynolds--Hammell

    --------Lasley--Jennings--Hateley--------

    -----------------Casagolda-----------------

    -----------Murphy--------------------------

    ------------------Sutton--------------------

Hammell and Hateley offer speed and overlap opportunities down the left and Murphy would offer the same on the right however would sometimes sacrifice being in the box as a result. I'd be interested to know if Casagolda can act in a midfield role if we bring Humphrey on.

Looking forward to see who Brown plays on Sunday. I think if Casagolda plays it will only be for the last 10 minutes or something as I don't think he's match fit. Its nice to have some options though. On recent form I think Humphrey will start.

  8. I think thats more the way Broon will be thinking, he seems to love playing Sutts wide left

I know, i just personally think he's better as an out and out striker, keep the pacy guys out on the wings. On paper that looks like a good team anyway, from what Brown's said looks like we are going to have a very fast attack.

  9. See Brown's saying he's hoping to get somebody else in before the window closes, let's just hope its a left winger, although he says Blackman is fast with a good left peg so maybe thats what he has in mind for him. I'm thinkin: -

    --------------Randolph--------------

    Hateley--Craigan--Reynolds--Hammell

    ---------Jennings--Lasley-----------

    Murphy------Casagolda------Blackman

    --------------Sutton----------------
