Fair play to David there.
I do find it amusing that fans of the same team can't even argue sensibly with him without resorting to "aaaaaeeeee, it's jist no fair, because we is the bestest fans in the land!!!!"

Aye we waited long enough on Bob Malcolm so we can wait for Sutty.
Is this using the well established time spent waiting equals lack of turning circle equation?

I come from Larkhall. You can imagine how well that one goes, considering how paranoid that mob are.
In all probability, I may hate Rangers about...ooooooft 2% more the now (that being today).
1) Had to put up with their brand of pish on a more regular basis.
2) Diouf, Naismith, Lafferty, etc, add up to a slightly more detestable mix, although Lennon and Brown are doing a damn good show of evening that up
3) We didn't pump them this season.
Having said that, I hate both. They, as two groups of fans can't seem to get through their inbred, paranoid, self involved skulls that my answer to the "awhawhaw but who wid ye really pick if ye hud tae" is neither.

McCall's justifications for the odd decisions seem pretty sound. There are a few things I can disagree with, but I can still see why he made the choices he did.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy getting these emails. Agree that they would be better served being monthly, but really appreciate that McCall takes the time out to send these updates. As has been mentioned earlier in the thread, they do improve communications, which has been a big complaint in the past.
Even more impressive is the fact that he takes the time to reply to responses. I sent one after the Jeffers signing, pretty much questioning how he saw that Jeffers would fit into the squad, and got a lengthy email back, detailing some potential uses, but also highlighting that he would struggle to be a 90 minute, two game a week type, etc.
It's not much, but it's a nice touch.

Not a fan of the pre-season friendly myself, but I'd love it if we managed to secure a glamour friendly against Liverpool, for no reason other than it's my other team.
It wont happen though.

I didn't mean to criticise the ex-pats, and fans who genuinely can't make it week in, week out.
It's just that when these things come up, when you see a massive sea of claret and amber, and then go to a home game, and get a quarter of the attendance, it's really quite gutting.

I don't expect the full 16K, but to see closer to 6000 season tickets sold would be nice.
Or even an average gate closer to the 6/7 thousand mark.

She was talking about their bandages.

Yep. And then, as ever, next game will be against Rangers.

Left as soon as the 2nd goal went in? I just hate people who do that and have the cheek to call themselves supporters.Real supporters support mate to the end!!!!!
This.
I was furious when the second went in, but stayed to support my team.
Also infuriating; 16,000 'Well fans' at the cup final. Average season ticket sales of what... 3,500, 4000?

Ha. That was an easy wee dig there.
Nah, logging out of this when I leave it now.
He's actually so little of a football fan, he texted me about an hour ago to ask if we won the cup. Saying no nearly killed me.

I totally missed the Nish idea.
SteveDiggle is right. Although I don't reckon the rhyme is a strong enough word.
Shame it's not Colin Pitt.

I feel that the referee was very weak. He's clearly decided in the morning that no reds would be shown, otherwise Lasley (Ki, by extension) and Majstorovic would have walked.
In a way, I'm disappointed by that, but at least the teams stayed even, and it should have led to a more even contest. Irrelevant, being as we looked a man down from the get-go.

I'm hoping we let Forbes move on. Hopefully Accies or someone will fancy him. As far as I'm concerned, he's a total wage drain. Low wages, yes, but contributes very little for them.
I wouldn't disagree with loaning him out, to give him a chance, however.

Then why the fuck didn't you get off your arse and sing your heart out
stop blaming everyone else for a shit atmosphere when you were part of it
get a life and get behind your team

Disappointing result and performance. But it's still been a good season!!
The goals we conceeded were soft.
First the boy should have been closed down sooner, much like the rangers semi final in the league cup. Tho, it was still a wonder shot.
Second, poor marking cost us and unlucky deflection
Third, the wall was not right, whether that was down to Randolph or the wall not listening, either way there was a huge gap for Mulgrew to hit it, and he did not unsuprisingly.
At one nil, on another day the ball that hit the bar goes in, the referee sends the Celtic boy off for a second bookable offence, and the deflection does not happen.
Our center midfield sat to deep, and to far away to support Sutton, thus Celtic picked up the second ball all day long. The movement up field, especially down our left flank was non existant. It was as if the team had played a game to many, Alot of weary looking players.
We lost, but hopefully if we learn from it, the players can back stronger, assuming some of them hang about.
Can anyone exlplain to me why individuals wore a half celtic, and half motherwell scarf? and then sit in the motherwell end. Does anyone think they could do that in the Celtic end?
I should add that i thought Celtic pressed us high up the park, and we could not cope with that.
Good summary and opinions. I agree especially with the central midfield comment.

And you will be that well known super coach, dry yir feckin eyes
Two words FUCK OFF
Have either of you got any form of constructive breakdown of where it went wrong, or is abusing someone who at least tried to pick out flaws enough?
I could run through five or six mistakes today, as opposed to a blunt fuck off. Even if I disagreed.

Nail on the head lad.

Myself and my dad were walking back from the tube station and the pair of us said as soon as wee got in, "Thank fuck we never saw a taunting Shellic fan."
We'd have wound up in the docks man..
-
I can't disagree bud. We wound up a man light in midfield.
Never understood why Hammy can't play left mid, but it's a well established fact that it's not a go-er.

Was it not Calum O'Murray?

McFadden will resign with them, I would imagine.
