  1. Charbonnier got a medal. Must be some more '66 boys from Texaco Cup days as well.
  2. If you've got the guy's ear, maybe the white Umbro away with the claret/amber panel across the chest could be the next project? They've brought that template out for the Dundee home kit and Current Buns away previously I think.
  3. It's the first "TV save", tip round the post would have done the job!
  4. Night and day (funnily enough) from Saturday. Hastie, Turnbull and Campbell linked up so well. Grimmy superb but Main remains a problem. Voluntarily going down to 10 men for the last half hour probably wasn't the greatest idea in the world though.
  5. On topic of podcasts - this week’s Open Goal podcast has Trevor Carson on it. Really good listen.
  6. He's costing a fair few quid, small % of his Villa weekly wage but a decent number for us all things being equal.
  7. Any insight as to why Dougie Arnott didn't feature at all? Clearly get the sense that he and the club haven't parted on good terms, but seems a missed opportunity not having him on there at all. Likewise Craig Paterson (Maxwell more understandable given where he lives I guess).
  8. Nae Calendars? Did they have any rolls?

    AGM 2018

All shareholders listed on the share register should have received an invite to the AGM. Usually comes by post 3-4 weeks before the deadline - to save on postage, they tend to ask if you want a set of accounts emailed to you now, rather then send them out. I would email accounts @ motherwellfc.co.uk to get them to ensure you are properly recorded on the share register.
  10. Per the notes to the accounts: "Costs for the year increased by £1.35m. Staff costs made up the majority of that increase...through a combination of increased player bonuses in light of improved performance in both the league and domestic cups, a modest increase to the playing budget with a view to an improved position on the park and the introduction of Project Brave...".
  11. Broadwood, the day Faddy scored in the Scottish Cup, is the worst I can remember.
  12. Bumped into him walking his dog on Sunday - he's fine after a couple of hours at St John's Hospital. Bit embarrassed by it all - told him he was the lucky one in the end, missing out on the 90 mins we endured.
  13. Might be mis-remembering, but I thought the line was that we offered to make him one of our best ever paid players, or words to that effect.
  14. I thought I read that the clot is in his shoulder so presumably not.
  15. Could probably fill a thread of Thomson related injustices, but this one is my first memory of his bawbaggery: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/35988/Well-captain-calls-for-more-head-care
  16. Ebbe Skovhdal : “Statistics are just like mini-skirts, they give you good ideas but hide the most important thing.”https://www.scotsman.com/200voices/sporting-legends/13-greatest-scottish-football-quotes/
  17. Agreed with that - also seem to remember Flow talking a few years back about trying to encourage away fans to spend their money at Fir Park and not moving them from the South Stand was going to be part and parcel of that. That said, the Dundee fans on Pie and Bovril seem to have preferred it.
  18. I think you'd need to add a column to highlight the "where are they now" factor for it to be worthwhile starting point.
  19. Spot on - Hartley reminded me of Shaun Teale in terms of his mobility at times on Saturday.
  20. Wouldn't be surprising - as you say, you'd hope/expect there to be disquiet given the current challenges. Was interesting in recent games to see the amount of answering back to Robinson from players he was criticising on the park, eg Carson gave him both barrels in the Livi game at one point, but there have been a few others at it. There were similar rumblings last year, partly around him showing favouritism to certain players at times behind the scenes.
  21. Craigan on Sportsound last night is worth a listen. Talks a lot of sense...in stark contrast to the ramblings of Yogi Hughes alongside him. At one point Hughes was, un-ironically, talking about his ambitions to manage Scotland...
