  1. You know what you also get with a bigger budget, hotter tottie round the pitch that the cameramen love.
  2. Especially if we get beat by the sheep on Sunday
  3. I'm afraid I can't agree with that. We could end up sending our reserves To Russia and they receive a right going over which will do nothing for their confidence. Then on Sunday, the sheep decide to give out "1st" team a good going over due to lack of competitive match practice. No thanks.
  4. You bugger, it's rare that I really laugh to posts on forums but that one really got me!
  5. Of course you should name and shame, if these were pubs in the Motherwell area that is even more shocking.
  6. Google "translate" from UBH's link
  7. From the shoutbox Looking for a link...
  8. Both of you are correct in this instance. You can get a direct train from Manchester to Motherwell/Glasgow but Manchester isn't on the West Coast main line.
  9. Better earlier than later IMO. This gives fans a better chance for cheaper travel arrangements etc. (Not that I'm agreeing with the ko times being changed though)
  10. From the Scotsman: Hibernian 1 - 2 Nottingham Forest: Supporters clash
  11. Just received this email from the club
  12. Looks like this was answered in the shoutbox.
  13. According to STV the initial transfer fee was £200,000 rising to £400,000 with add-ons. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/motherwell/227253-motherwell-reject-lech-poznan-bid-for-estonian-forward-henrik-ojamaa/
  14. More info re the 3 positions on the official site http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2013/05/11/the-matchday-experience-more-spaces/
  15. Well it aint working here. I've added a rep to your post and I can't click on it. I'm now using IE10 whereas before I was using FF20 and still couldn't click on it.
  16. Cheers Andy & Squirrelhumper for your replies. My real concern was that we may have been setting some form of precedent by showing the match live in a bar within the club grounds. Is the Cooper Suite normally open on Friday nights for general access for example? Don't get me wrong, I fully agree with what the lads did and it was noticeable that the club did not promote the fact the match could be watched at Fir Park. The only promotion I saw from the club for fans who could not make the match was to listen to the commentary on MFC TV. Perhaps I'm being a little paranoid but the next step here is for clubs to say "Why travel away when you can watch the match here, in your home ground?" For European away matches I can understand, but for SPL matches? That shows the grip SKY/ESPN has over our game where some matches are inaccessible to the ordinary fan. /rant @weeyin Unlike P&B you can't click on the rep count to find out who has given rep. Interesting who ever it was has not appeared here to explain why
  17. OK, who gave the negative rep for my post and why?
  18. I'm a little bit concerned here. Does any other club have their own bar and open it for their fans to watch an away match on Sky/ESPN? I've a feeling that United may try to pull a fast one on us especially when fans were forced into the upper tier (at extra cost) giving the impression that there were no away fans there, at least according to ESPN & BBC highlights that I have seen. On the other hand, they may have shot themselves in the foot by emphasising the lack of the away support due to their policies on away fans.
  19. \ Is this Motherwell we are talking about?
