  1. At least we know the Tombola machine is still working
  2. I think we need to get 3 points. For me 1 point is much the same as 0 points in that 1 point probably means bottom 6. Although having said that there would still be 2 games to play but if you can’t beat St Johnstone what’s the chances of us picking up 6 points against St Mirren and Livi?
  3. Yes, huge game for us and I’d say “must win” if we want to challenge for 4th. A win also improves the mood for the last 2 games which are very likely also must win games.
  4. We might have, or should have, a clause in these kind of contracts where we get first refusal on any loan deals.
  5. Although not playing well in our last 2 league games we have dominated in possession and shots. everyone knows the only stat that counts is goals. Also everyone knows we need to turn those favorable stats into goals and stop gift wrapping goals for the opposition. I think it’s probably easier to cut out gifting the goals so I think our biggest issue will be, can we actually score a few. COYW!!
  6. So that’s 5000 going on top of those with season tickets??
  7. I’m thinking the semis will either be Celtic rangers hearts and Motherwell OR Dundee Utd. Dundee St Mirren and Hibs
  8. We are more than capable of doing it but will we? YESSSSSSSSS WE WILL. COYW!!!
  9. I’ve given up considering anything other than 4-3-3 with GA
  10. That’s what Is so frustrating we don’t have to improve that much and we would be sailing home all happy and singing. We just got 1 point out of 6 but if you look at stats you wonder how that happened. Of course we know it is stupid individual mistakes giving up goals and some ineffective unimaginative attacking and midfield play. I do think that GA’s tactics of long ball after long ball make it harder for the players to perform well but basic stuff like controlling and simple 10 yard passing is down to the players
  11. From what we have I’d pick O’Hara and Slattery and one other.
  12. So Shaw instead of Goss or Tierney? Surely not Donnelly at the moment.
  13. I am supporting him, by suggesting he starts. He has ability and can be very good but also prone to some less than inspiring performances, however anytime we have tried to replace him it’s not any better than his worst displays so in that respect he has earned his position in the starting line up. So perhaps continue would have been a better choice of word than persevere.
  14. Playing suggestions: Vary the types of corners vary the types of throw in just clear the F’n ball when under pressure leave A man upfield when defending corners cut down the number of long “passes” alright now and again but try and make the better percentage chance of us winning them players have to show for the ball to give passing options do the players even know what an overlapping run is? Some of them would be good could go on but you can only address so much at a time but most of the above could quickly and easily be addressed.
  15. I like O’Donnell but at the moment I think Mugabi is the better option. Not keen on McGinley but Carroll is not offering as much going forward as I thought he would so I think GA got something right by putting Lamie at left back so I’d go Mugabi, Sol, Ojala, Lamie no hate against Donnelly, just think he is way off form. Mid 3 I’d have O’Hara Slattery and Goss up front I think we have to persevere with KVV in middle. For recent form I think Woolery makes it and left side I think Roberts is the closest we have to Watt, so Woolery, KVV, Roberts STARTING TEAM kelly mugabi sol Ojala lamie O’hara Slattery goss Woolery KVV roberts subs: O’Donnell, mcginley, Tierney, justin, effords, shields, Shaw, Cornelius, Fox
  16. Didn’t work out so good either way
  17. Should just have kept him
  18. So scunnered, have to keep reminding myself we didn’t actually loose. But I have felt better than this after some defeats.
  19. See some comments that we are just one point of 4th, which is true but what is also true is that from a few weeks ago our Position has drastically changed. We were 4th, in Control of our own fate with a decent looking run of fixtures. We now pretty much HAVE to beat St Mirren (probably St Johnston too) and Livingston and hope that RC and/or Dundee Utd drop points. Yes, we are 1 point off of 4th but with bottom 6 finish staring us in the face. We have persevered with some terrible performances and not fixed those issues. This why you fix things before they cause a problem, not afterwards. Having mot won in so long what’s the chances of us winning 3 in a row? Could be a lot of money down he drain because GA did not address the issues on display week after week.
  20. I’ll see If she has anything to help stop your eyes bleeding during the Motherwell games. Maybe a blindfold? I think GA must be wearing one during the games
  21. Well at least the “c’mon tae fk GA! Sort this out now”.
  22. Just a glimmer of some football and we would be sitting pretty but it’s the same shitfest week after week
  23. Dreadful. Clueless. How Donnelly stayed on for 90 mins can only be explained in that GA forgot he was playing.
