Yes, there are issues, which probably seem worse after some of the nice stuff we played earlier this season. Hopefully AJ can sort our lack of threat up front. We’ve shown we can keep possession which is our best form of defense but we have to stop going behind in games to take that approach.

We’ve gifted a goal in 3 games that has contributed significantly to us loosing the last 3 games. We strolled thru first half at Ibrox but Ramgers had much better secomd half. Neither Aberdeen or Dundee are a better footballing side than us. So first thing is to cut out the stupid mistakes which falls on the players. AJ Needs to get them motivated amd up their energy levels and sharpen up the tactics

Hodge gets a lot of the ball but not much output for the amount of possession he gets. I think hodge is a good player to have but more about seeing games out when we are ahead. I’m hoping Oscar is back in the team beside Fadinger soon. I’d like to see JKL in for JGR and Johnny K or SOD at right back. Earlier in the season we were shooting and crossing a lot. I’d like to see us get back to that but with PH or Thor in the middle.

Since the St Mirren game I think we have tried to be a little less gung ho and show more patience but based on the evidence so far I think we have gone too far that way. We pretty much have been in charge of posession in most of our games, bar Freiburg, but have lost our attacking edge. We need to revert back to being a bit more risky amd allow the players to go attack. It’s much more entertaining.

Agree with pretty much all of that except maybe your secomd item, Watt done that all season long although Welsh woukd also bring the ball out. I think JKL gives us a more Welsh like option. i also wonder how much we are missing Preistman. For me, he was our Watt replacement. Stepped in seamlessly for games last season and started off very well this season. regarding you last point, I think the effort level has dropped a wee bit which results in us not playing as a unit amd leads to some of the big gaps we are seeing. Need to attack as a team and get back to that high press but willing to put the work in to get back and defend should the other team beat the press.

Just watched AJ’s pat match interview. Pretty much summarized it correctly. Didnt turn our first half domination into goals and stopped playing our normal game after second goal.
