We should have him signed up longer, on the agreement that he can go for free after the euros just to make sure we get the money if there is any forthcoming.

Carroll just helps by actually being a left fullback playing in that position. He can deliver some good cross balls too. McGuire I thought done very well. I also thought Crawford was not too bad except for 2 very careless passes which almost killed us. Mugabi covered well and terrific header. But can’t see past Tony Watt. What a way to lead by example week in and week out. Poor Alan Campbell really struggled tonight but yet he didn’t hide and had a better second half. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that from now he is going to start improving again and back to his old self before we know it.
