I’m hoping that we will get Turnbull to sign an extension before the Ross County game and that news will be the spark to ignite a turn around in our performances of late. Goodness knows we need some sort of catalyst.

With the run in to the split we have a chance to restore that gap and hopefully after St Mirren we will be 7 points ahead of 5th place. Assuming that 4th place will get into Europe we should be aiming to go into the split 9 or more points ahead of 5th and I think we will be good. Hopefully we can clinch 3rd anyway

I think we are going to win this and turn things around for the run in to the split. I’m fully expecting us to be back in 3rd spot, 3 points ahead of Aberdeen come Tuesday night.

I haven’t been paying full attention but has Robinson been subbing Watt in for long? I’d agree with your point that we would get more out of it if we played them together up top. Sounds like 3-5-2 is not popular or we don’t have the right people available to play but it would allow us to get Long and Watt playing as the front 2 and have 2 wide players Aaron’s and Hylton(or another) then Campbell, Polworth and either Donnelly or O’Hara. Maybe we push Grimshaw into wide right midfield 5 instead of Hylton ? But tell him he needs to cross the damn ball when he gets up there. Whatever Robinson does the players on the Park need to step up , perform and come away with 3 points and give us some confidence back.

Yes we done very well the first 2 rounds of fixtures and you know we have to have a bad spell at some point. I’m just hoping that we are now done with our bad spell. And go on a nice wee run towards the split. COYW

Next 4 games against the bottom 4 teams. We need to get things sorted very quickly and take 3 points from each of these games. ...... then of course Aberdeen at home. With a run in like that we have a chance to almost sew up 3rd place but only if we can actually remember how to play and score again.
