  1. I’m hoping that Hastie and Ariyibi will get a lot more room to run at the defense, more so than against teams we have played recently. I think if Celtic are pressing us hard our 2 wingers could cause them problems on the counter attack given a lot of space to work with and get in behind them. But been a Motherwell fan too long so you know I am dreading this game expecting to be brought back to earth with a bang after such a good run but you just never know. Probably by 2.55 on Sunday i’ll Be convinced we are going to win by 3 goals COYW
  2. Watched the highlights (they missed a few) several times and I’m still not sure what the goalie done to miss that ........ but i’m Glad he did. COYW
  3. Yes, I think he has settled into that right back position. He has taken some stick but I’d like to see us keep him. I also think it’s no surprise that other players are performing better in a settled team. Including Frear who has looked better in his recent appearances. But for man of the match, I’ll give that to Turnbull. Classiest player on the field by a mile.
  4. I think that should give Scott some more confidence. 1-1 in a game we really want to win and the manager pulls off Main and puts him on. A lot different than coming on the last 10 mins in a game that is already won. I’d like to see him get longer timebin a game and give him a chance to show what he can do
  5. I didn’t think it was that bad initially but then watching the replay, good call by the ref. On the red card
  6. I was so hoping that something like that didn't happen at the other end to make us lose the game, so all the more sweeter to see us snatch victory like that in the dying seconds. COYW
  7. i'd like to see us try and get the wingers more involved although having said that I think Ariyibi needs to make some better runs off the ball so we can give it to him. Once again Main having to fight for everything, we hardly ever give him a decent pass always seems to be 50/50 balls
  8. I thought livestream from home games was always our guys commentary
  9. I don’t know that I’d make out of bed at that time to watch the game
  10. I'm supposed to be on low carb but I think Sunday may be a cheat day so a wee roll or two might be in order
  11. I think it’s well within our capabilities to win this game. I’m going for 2-1 to super well.
  12. I don’t recall the details but just remember coming away from the game thinking that Gordon Banks really was great goalie after all.
  13. I notice a lack of “shoe eating” posts these days !
  14. So where are all the stats geeks? Oops I mean experts. When was last time we won 6 in a row? What’s our record? Robinson got us most shutouts in a season. Got us 2 finals in a season. Will he get us longest run of victories?
  15. So when was the last time we won 6 in a row? Next game Hearts at home. Not easy but still a winnable game if we play well. Once again lets concentrate on what we can do and try to win our game but at the same time lets hope other results are in our favour and St. Johnstone get beat. COYW
  16. Yes you are right about managers but not so much about “fanciful” I don’t think our fixtures are any more difficult than those around us, also hopeful of finishing in 6th place. Look at St Johnstone next 3 games! But it’s about results over the remaining 8 games that will decide our position at the split
  17. Would be unbelievable if we could manage a 6th place finish but at least now it’s a possibility. Should be a tight run in to see who manages to win that 6th spot. COYW
  18. We’re not really saying much about this game, are we? Is that because it’s pretty much, same again Lorraine? Or are we afraid of jinxing ourselves because it really should be 5 in a row?
  19. I think Ariyibi and Hastie will be too much for them. Fancy Main to score again and Ariyibi to get his first goal. 3-1 for superwell
