Good win against a surprisingly poor Hearts team. Did'nt realise Nicholson was on the park till he got subbed.They looked like they were playing in slow motion in the first half. Good team performance from us but for me Ainsworth did little more than score, poor passing and lost the ball to easily and does little overall in the game to justify a starting place. Ref made some unbeilievably bad decicions.

McManus looked as comfortable as I've seen him all season,Cadden played well but McDonald was all over the place and showing a bit of class at times so can forgive him that 'sitter' and give him my vote.

Everybody got pass marks for the team effort. Between Ripley and Moult, Ripley shaded it for me as he kept us in it a few times. Moult covered the whole park .Defence had a good game.

Best win of the season for me , pass marks for all for the players for the effort put in given all the injury and illness before the game.

Be really happy to come onto this forum and hear the usual team of 'Well fans' talk about the pride they have for their local team. About supporting them through thick and thin,not deserting halfway through the season to hing about in the bookies or pub. I don't like the position we're in anymore than anyone else on here and will criticise if I see somebody shirking their responsibility on the park but some of the garbage and vitriol on here is only befitting an old firm forum. Get a grip some of you. Happy to see us win tonight .May or may not be start of something ,won't stop me supporting ma team. COYW.

Youngest and loan players best for us today. Thought Chris Cadden shaded it though.

Thought Marv should have been subbed early second half .Looked too 'lightweight' for that game and obvious he was struggling .No leadership or oginisation with everybody doing their own thing.Something badly wrong in that dressing room. Substitutions were farcical. Should have made changes a lot earlier ,don't know how McGhee thought that the team on the park for most of the game we're going to win it. Sad that two of the best players on the day on the park for us were the youngest were the youngest and a loan deal.

Saying it again,if your a 'Well' fan results like this happen ,I hate the thought of that lot humping us but it'll not stop me being 100% behind my team Motherwell FC next week. Don't feel the need to rip anybody aprart or over think why we got beat. We lost and hopefully we bounce back next week as I've seen us do loadsa times. Not worried at this ,sickened but will get over it.

Don't think team will be a lot different from Saturday's. Two or three changes at most perhaps.

Ideal Saturday. We win ,Old Squirm lose, plus we beat one of them. Couldnae be better. Sounds as though we got right intae them. Excellent result. COYW.

Don't agree with the wage theif comment.If you listen to his interview he has been doing some coaching with the youth. Who would'nt want Faddy helping out at their club. Plus he's been one of our best players from the past.Good memories,crass comment.

Pearson was swinging boots all over the place and could cost the team with his erratic tackles. Grimshaw did play well but still looked 'lost' at times and did not know where to play the ball . Thought both Lasley and Hammell made a big difference to the team. Not brilliant displays from both of them but enough to make 'that' difference.

Moult ahead of the rest for tenacity .Grimshaw's best game so far granted and Hammell and Las made a big difference to overall performance.

Good game. Thought we should have scored another in the first half but didn't press them enough ,we had them rattled till they scored. Las and Stevie made a difference and their experience showed. Moult and McDonald bust a gut for the team. Negatives for me were poor defending of corners and free kicks and not moving up the park quick enough. Hearts have some decent players but their 'dirty tricks routine' spoilt that . Some of the refereeing decisions were mystifying and bordering on the farcical.

Get intae them Motherwell. Looking forward as always to a game against the Hearts. COYW
