  1. Great clip ,great memories of the team and stadium of my youth. If you go direct to YOU TUBE and type in Motherwell v Celtic 1968 you'll get it
  2. Neither can I cos I support The Well in foul weather some as fair weather unlike yourself by the sounds of it .Get a grip mate still got the league to go for
  3. Beat Yes Unhappy Yes Seen it all before Yes Sill be supporting 'THE WELL ' this time next year YES
  4. Fills my heart with monotonous languor
  5. Thought first half was a bit scrappy and agree with Lobey Dosser that we were exposed down Ramsdens side and Hammell had to run to cover on more than one occasion. Second half was more like we should be watching better penetration and the crosses into the box had County all over the place. Sutton man of the match long before it was announced. Not a Mc Hugh fan but he did play well when he came on . Good result and if we keep winning at Fir Park we will be alright.
  6. Agreed but with one alteration. The socks should be amber with two claret hoops at the top. First and best strip i ever owned . God bless my maw and paw for buying me it in the mid sixties.
  7. Ojamma for me. Needs to look up more but can't fault his effort and enthusiasim. Hope the goal sets him up for more.
  8. Would not want to move from Fir Park for purely selfish and sentimental reasons. A lot of memories of going there for 50 years, firstly with my dad then paying 2/6 tae get in at the boys gate at the Taggarts end . Would hate to see us move to an Aifix kit stadium stuck in the middle of a barren windswept Ravenscraig site but do see the sense of having to make improvements. My ideal if we did have to move to Ravenscraig would be a decent size 'bowl' type stadium as close to Flemington side as possible so we don't lose our identity with Fir Park too much. Money as always will be the problem.
  9. Agreed, probably the biggest bottler in a Well shirt i've ever seen .Manager has to start to play people who have heart at least.
  10. going for hutchison , considering he has missed some of the preperation i thought he looked composed for most of the game ,felt murphy looked in the mood , like others hhave said ojamma poor and humphrey dodgy
  11. Agree regarding the lack of experience and we could'nt have given any more. No disgrace tonight boys.
  12. No real pass marks for anybody.Went for Clancy as he seemed to have been best of a bad lot at the back Randolph had to many 'bomscare' moments to get my vote.
  13. Poor display today. The players let the woeful decision for the corner get to them and we never recovered. Very bad defending for both goals, poor passing, nobody seemed to have any origional ideas as to how to get the ball in the net,or even up the park. Would not single any player out for criticism as nobody had a good game . As for that halfwit ref ,how did he ever pass to get to officiate at this level.Poor decision making and totally inconcistent all of the game.To add insult to injury Aberdeen are mediocre at best,Only bright moment was comment from punter in POD.' Hurry up ya fat Darren Randolph directed at time wasting Dons goalie
  14. I agree both about the man and the boots(Addidas Santiago my all time favourites)
  15. Jutkiewicz looked as if ma maw could have knocked him off the ball today. Not much chance of keeping his place given this poor performance.
  16. Felt that we had no stomach for the fight after going two behind. Looked at times as if we were playing in slow motion. No striking potential at all today and badly in need of a real 'finisher'. Could Willie P or Dougie be coaxed to put the boots back on because if this problem ain't solved soon we will struggle as i really did not think Hibs were all that good
  17. Was at that game with a cousin up from England, remember going 'mental' when Pettigrew scored the second and him trying to calm me down as there were gers fans next to us in the old enclosure in front of the main stand . Great memories of old Fir Park and of one of Well's best ever teams in my opinion.
