  1. RE the well bhoys banner - embarrassing stuff even by their usual standards. Now more than ever the fan base should be pulling together. A quick google shows approx 18 - 20% in the Motherwell and Wishaw area voted Tory during the week. Still who cares about alienating a fair chunk of our support as long as the nationalist agenda is pushed.
  2. Didn't you help organise a joint protest with the green brigade at Fir Park last season? "nothing short of a disgrace" Who fucking cares
  3. Whoever filmed the match on periscope
  4. Ryan 'goal machine' Bowman is a brilliant signing. He's the guy that's going to get our title challenge back on track. Pleased to gave got rid of that useless tosspot Johnson. He was pish
  5. Hopefully we line up Samson Hammell McManus Henghean Tait Lasley Mchugh Ainsworth Cadden Johnson McDonald Plenty of pace and width to score a few goals 3-1 Well
  6. Moshnis attack on Erwin unprovoked? Did you see the whole incident? I'd like to think that if fans of another team ran on the park and attacked our players then some of our fans would run on to set about them That Rangers statement is a fucking riddy though
  7. McManus million quid house went up for sale last week looks like he'll be off
  8. You precious little thing What age are you?
  9. Have a feeling we'll line up like this: Ripley Kennedy hall McManus hammell Cadden gomis mcdonald Ainsworth moult Johnson
  10. Tony Straker joins Grimsby Yes THE Tony Straker
  11. Hopefully next week we see hammell and law back in their best positions Why was their a boy put out by stewards after hearts 2nd goal?
  12. 1 - We've only heard O 'Learys side of the story 2 - Manager tells players to stay away from player with bad attitude. Probably because he didn't want O' Leary to inflict his bad attitude (in Calderwoods view) on other players. How awful
  13. You should work for the Sun the way you've twisted what the article actually says Calderwood bullied and ostracised O 'Leary when he found out O 'Leary had depression? No he didn't. Read the article. He froze him out because he thought O' Leary had a bad attitude. Calderwood knew nothing about the depression
  14. Jimmy Calderwood is similar to Sam Allardyce. Both have a very good record in management but are never popular with fans because of the style of football
  15. Wouldn't mind knowing who was involved in the rammy last night and what was said / happened Yes I'm a nosey bastard
  16. Even Malpas managed to scrape past Morton in the cup. Let that sink in
  17. The guy is an absolute dud and we'll be playing championship football in front of 1500 next season if he doesn't go soon

    Well Bois

There's no space left at Fir Park for a 'Refugees Welcome' banner. Unless we take down either our 'Thirsty Africans' or 'Wet Southern Englanders' welcoming banners
  19. Not necessarily, but it does help. What they do need to sell players on is having players that are on form and look like they can step up a few levels. Which we currently don't have.
  20. If we continue playing the way we've started the season we won't be able to get a 6 figure fee for any of our players. Not that unreal a prospect. And then what? How do we pay back Les Hutchinson? To bring in 'gems' from the lower leagues and try to sell them on isn't a bad idea. But if we bring in too many and start living out with our means (which would appear to be happening) then we are relying on some of them being sold on for big fees. Thats just as risky a strategy as relying on good cup runs and top 6 finishes every year. Which almost seen us go into administration (again). People going on about us needing a new right back or a new centre mid or whatever. The only 2 things we NEED are: 1 - A team which is good enough to comfortably finish 10th or above - which on paper we already have 2 - Not to go into administration again, and be fucked for a generation like Dunfermline or Rangers
  21. Sure those strips are old But they are beautiful And the colours they are fine
  22. McCalls budget was only slightly more than Jim Gannon and Craig Browns budget, and less than Mark McGhees. Hardly substantial. Also worth noting that McCalls "substantial budget" in his three full seasons was less than Aberdeens, Dundee Utds and Hibs in all three, and less than Hearts in two out of three.
  23. To come best of the rest outside the old firm for a Motherwell manager in one season is a great achievement. But to do it 3 times in a row, I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say, it's world class management. I doubt it's something that will happen again in any of our lifetimes. The Albion Rovers result was a disgrace and embarrassing. But these freak results do happen from time to time (man utd 0 - 4 MK Dons, Celtic 0 - 1 bottom of the first division Morton etc). I don't think it's fair to sack a manager or judge a manger on his time anywhere over one performance, especially when the league form was consistently excellent. Had McCall been able to sign Pearson, McDonald and given the funds baraclough was in January would he have kept us up? Who knows, I would suspect yes though. Having said all that he did fuck up big time in his last season, nobody can argue that. He's had his time. Did a great job on the whole, but I don't think we should ever employ him again because of the state he left us in. I wish him well
  24. Even though he took us to 2nd that season?
