  1. Kelly has been poor all season and deserves his share of criticism but the guys in front of him have been worse imo,the level of goals we have conceded all season has been farcical, how many free headers and goals from cross balls is that now.kelly hasn't installed any confidence but at the same time he's had no protection, not one of our defenders has done there job properly and consistently throughout the season.we have a poor selection of centre half's to pick from and have to move as many on over the summer as possible and start from scratch or we will just be at a disadvantage before a ball is even kicked next season.

Name the defender who he hasn’t played who would have made a difference.
At different points of the season every defender has been played in different permutations and we’ve lost stupid goals from open play/corners/set pieces so I’d say it’s more down to the defender’s themselves - unless you guys think they’re not getting coached on defending in which case you should be abusing the defensive coaches.

    Our manager was a defender

Yep, he's in the defence, tit.

The manager needs to carry the can  as much as the players,he's had all season to sort out our problems.the fact that were at this stage of the season and we're still conceding the same pathetic goals is a joke.

  4. Bair has been a revelation considering the expectations were pretty much rock bottom when he got here but at the end of the day 750k for a player that's had one good season upto this point would be great business for us.getting him on a new contract should be a priority for us this summer,it's the only way we will really be able to play hard ball on a fee,if there's no new contract and he continues his form next season then you can be sure it will be a cut price fee then.

  5. Consider there was something at stake and the way we finished the game last week,I thought we would have came out and been bright from the start but it was the exact opposite,it had the feeling of an end of season game about it.on team selection for the last 5 games I would still go as strong as possible and look to get 7 places, the extra money will come in handy with the sizeable rebuilding job come the summer.a couple of the younger players should definitely be giving some minutes at the expense of the likes of shaw.

  6. I see dundee have posted nearly a £3 million loss for the past year and expect similar next year, clearly they have been overspending on player wages again as none of it is going on there pitch, that's one club that never seems to learn a lesson when it comes to finances.

That would be great.  I know money talks but he would be best staying with us for a few years and getting game time

Exactly,if wells or any other youngster are good enough then the big move will eventually come, they will be much better off staying where they are and getting some real game time under the belt before moving on.

  8. I wouldn't be surprised clubs in the english championship will be after bair come the summer,he's got the sort of attributes they look for down there.if him or miller move on then some of the money will definitely have to be put back into recruitment,we will most likely have a huge rebuild this summer and we will need to get it right more often than not, first thing should be staying away from players with dodgy injury records no matter how cheap we could get them for.

  9. So there was a meaningless pitch inspection at the start of the week,we won't know until late morning tomorrow if the game is actually on and if it isn't it could then possibly be played at another venue over the weekend or the start of next week behind closed doors all the while tannadice is sitting empty this weekend but by all accounts doesn't have the facilities to accommodate the dreaded VAR,what an absolute shit show out game is it times,I was going to this but even if it gets the go ahead I think I'll give it a miss now.

Don't think you are getting the point. The point was being made that we shouldnt sign players over 30. And the point I made was then why did we sign Cooper and Coyne.  You show me where I was comparing them.

Again where did I say we shouldn't sign players in there 30s?

Ah right. So Motherwell shouldn't sign players in their 30s. Should we not have signed Tommy Coyne and Davie Cooper?

Did I say we shouldn't sign players in there 30s,the point was us not wasting our meagre resources on players we know struggle for fitness.nice comparison though, cooper and halliday 😂.

  12. I hope we don't sign halliday for next season and the same goes for retaining the likes of butcher and obika,no harm to them but these guys are in there 30s and there never going to get upto speed after an injury like they would have done a few years ago.with the budget the manager will be working with next season we can't afford any passengers and players that struggle to keep themselves fight from one week to the next.

  13. With our record of injuries this season,I feared the worst when miller went off the other night so it's a positive that he's atleast made the bench.im glad we have went a bit more solid in midfield with davor and halliday as we were far to open in there against aberdeen.

  14. Glad we have finally got someone on board,he seems to come highly recommended from fans of his previous clubs so that's a positive straight away, here's hoping this is the first bit for some stability for the club moving forward.
