  1. The blessed Brenda said in the paper this morning Celtic should get more penalties and lo and behold Collum obliges tonight. Rodgers on BBC says it wasn't a foul against Brown for the Well goal and it was a definite penalty for them. How many fouls does it take for Broonie to get a booking ?? He was spoken to 4 times tonight and is still card free.
  2. Agree his tackle on McHugh was done with intent after the Kipre tackle on him. Like Saver I haven't seen footage of Kipres tackle but at the game I thought it was a great tackle. Dembele still shook hands with Well players at the end of the game so fair play to him
  3. Still harping on about the tackle on Dembele in the Record. Assistant managers turn this time moaning about career threatening challenge after which he played long enough to take the penalty. Fair play to Dembele he was the only Celtic player who made the effort to come to the Well players and shake their hand after the game.
  4. Watched the game V Queens Park earlier this year in pub in Coral Bay. Simply asked at the bar and the British guy brought up a list of what appeared to be every sports channel known to man and simply picked the BT Sport channel and put it on. Worth checking out even if they don't have signs up saying they are showing it. Good luck. COYW.
  5. When picking up my tickets the guy in the office said the club have applied for special licences to have kiosks set up to sell alcohol in the Cooper concourse. He said they were expected any day.
  6. I don't think any "serious" investors as you call them are going to be interested in buying shares in MFC. It is a way of raising cash and of giving a Well fan the chance to feel he/she is an active part of the club.
  7. Easiest choice of the season by far. Hartley was head and shoulders above everybody else.
  8. I think the reason they attended the press conference this week was in the hope that Robinson would give them something to run with regarding the Gers. Remember they are banned from Ibrox and any good mentions from them and the Rangers Board might mellow a wee bit and let them back in.
  9. Just noticed you have amended your post after I had posted.
  10. It is on the club website just after the prices that details of when they are available will be announced shortly. Obviously they can't sell them until they get them delivered to Fir Park
  11. Ryan Jack sent off for violent conduct 93rd minute. Rainjurs miss penalty 94th minute. Killie equalise 95th minute. F*****g Magic. Pedro must stay. COYW
  12. Dundeesteelman I think we could have about 1500 fans tonight if we can come to yours for our tea.
  13. Absolutely brilliant from Steve Robinson. Loved his parting shot when asked if Louis could play with stitches and he said yes if selected. COYW.
  14. Despite yesterdays result I would think a lot of local Bluenoses will support us at the final because of who we are playing. It happened against Dundee Utd because we had knocked Celtic out in the semi.
  15. Rodgers comments are the start of many in the run-up to the final designed to put pressure on the ref before a ball is kicked. I posted earlier that was Caxinho's idea all last week about how big and physical Motherwell are and how we would impose our physicality on them. Rodgers will do exactly the same and the media will run with it for the next four weeks. Get used to it. It is always the same. COYW
  16. Pedro's plan nearly worked. He has been bumping his gums all week in the papers etc about the big bad boys from Lanarkshire coming to kick his superstar football players off the park. Sure enough every time a Well player made a tackle the superstar was rolling about in "agony" How ironic for Newco to criticise any team when you look at some of the ball players who have graced their jersey--- John Greig; Terry Hurlock to name but two and now they have the superstar Buffalo who looks more like a headless chicken. Dry your eyes Bluenoses your team is shit and your manager can park his caravan and listen to the dogs barking anytime he likes. COYW
  17. Moult; Hartley; Carson - take your pick. Eventually went for Moult because of his 2 goals. Big Cedric had his worst game since he arrived but as Robinson has said he was ill last night and was talked into playing. Ill or not he was still too good for the tripe in blue he was up against. COYW.
  18. Just like the boy's of 76 _____________ DJ knows. Will never forget that game. COYW. gerrintaethem.
  19. condolences to Terry's family and friends. RIP Christopher
  20. Do Motherwell provide stewards at away games ?? I have noticed a young guy who is a steward at Fir Park has also been at the Edinburgh City game and was at NDP on Saturday. Maybe Motherwell send our stewards as they will know the Bois and maybe give them a wee bit of leeway. Anybody know ??
  21. I think we will stick with the same side but I can see a case for Frear getting a game to take advantage of Tavernier being in the other half of the park most of the game.
  22. In a perfect world it would be great if everybody sat in their ticked seat but we don't live in a perfect world. It only takes 2 or 3 Muppets to decide they want to sit somewhere else and you get all sort of ructions going. I sat in my numbered seat on Saturday with no problem but it hasn't always been like that at NDP. Maybe it's a problem with the venue as I don't think there will be problems at Hampden on Sunday. Perhaps for the next game over there they could just number the tickets from 1-2000 and let people sit where that want
  23. Dave to be honest it's the same every time you go over there. We arrived via the car park and joined the queue nearest. After about 5-10 minutes a female stewarding person came along the line and said if we had tickets it would be quicker to wait in the queue at the other end as there was only 1 gate open for tickets and 2 for PATG at the queue we were in. I asked why and she said she didn't know. Surely if Motherwell have been selling tickets all week and only a couple of hundred were sent back for sale the gates should have been the opposite way round and that not being the case they should tell the fans as they come out the car park and not after waiting in the queue for ages.
  24. difficult to decide on performances on that pitch bit I thought Tait, Hartley and Campbell (as usual) did well but eventually decided to go with Bowman. Chased every ball and never gave the Accies defenders a minutes peace. Should have sealed it however with the miss at the end !!!!
