FFS you would think we had been relegated today going by most of the posts on here tonight. We won !!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.K. we won ugly but WE WON. Accies had one attempt on goal in 90 minutes but some are saying we were lucky. We were playing with half our first choice defence missing and still kept a clean sheet. Robinson's remit was to keep us in the top flight and by next weekend I think he will have done that. don't think we have become less good up front but we are sadly missing Moult. It's not just his goals but when he isn't playing MacDonald is only half the player he can be. Hopefully he will be back for next Saturday and Tait as well as the "experiment" of three at the back at Firhill was an unmitigated disaster. After the reversion to 4-4-2 at half time and we at least put up a bit of a fight.

Excellent performance against a full time team from a ? superior league. there were a couple of miss-matches i.e. men against boys but the young guns held up well. not too sure if we were denied a chance to go to extra time by the referee. I'm not sure if the ? tackle was inside the box but two Airdrie players blatantly hauled down Luke Watt as he tried to get into the box with 10 minutes to go. Don't understand people complaining about Cadden's substitution. He scored a goal from 2 yards and had one shot over the bar and apart from these he contributed absolutely nothing to the game today. I am a fan of Chris but today was the worst performance I remember him having in the first team. Clay I thought was the best of the midfield and our other NEW signings Tait & Heneghan were the best of the rest.

Tait to me looks like the right back we have been looking for. He knows the job he has to do and does it without any fuss. Cadden continues to impress but Skippy today looked to me like he had been forced to play while carrying an injury, He was off the pace all game and his only contribution was to head the ball into the net for his goal. If Aberdeen beat Hearts on Friday and we beat them on Saturday they are only 1 point in front with a game against Aberdeen still to come after the split Not that I want Aberdeen to win the league but you can take it for granted Celtic will be up for the game at Fir Park

I was at the game and to be honest haven't a clue what kicked it all off despite being about 40 feet away. But as far as I was aware any steward employed at a football match has absolutely no right to eject or forceably remove anybody from the crowd. They can ask you to go with them but if you refuse they can do F**k all about it. They can ask the police to remove people from the crowd but if they attempt to do it themselves they are open to a charge of assault. ? Is this not the case. If this is correct the next time anything like this happens take pictures of the culprit on your phones which can then back up your statement. Some people on here are blaming the young guys for bringing it on themselves but I don't agree. Anytime I have been near them at away games they are only trying to create a bit of atmosphere. The problem as I see it only really applies to one company who supply stewards at games i.e. the ones employed by St Mirren and now as we know Morton. The young guys don't seem to have a problem at Hearts/Partick/Kilmarnock etc. Maybe we should be asking this company to be looked at by the powers that be rather than trying to put the blame on young guys enjoying themselves at a football match.
