  1. My recollection of that night at Hampden ( We were behind the goals at the Celtic end) was not only that Johnstone dived for the penalty but he dived from outside the box into the box to get it. The one at Ibrox last season is the only one I can remember off the top of my head ever getting against Rangers and I have followed the Dossers since the days of the Ancell Babes.

At long last a decent thread about MFC without folk calling other folk names and generally being arseholes. We're all in it together at MFC and should be constructive on the board. Good to see you back kmcalpin it's been a while since you posted on here. I have the same problem as you as do many other fans who used to post on here but got right royally pissed off by all the puerile tripe that was posted. Lets see if we can keep the standard up to the level of this thread ( too much to ask ???) and all support the Dossers. Mon the Dossers
  3. Pretty good quality actually. There's folk in tracksuits walking about on the park now. This looks quite hopeful.
  4. If you are really interested the site is Livefromiceland.com.
  5. 1500 Icelandic Krona to watch the game on this site ( equates to £7.66) Looks pretty professional but then again its just a picture of the stadium thats up at the moment. Hopefully the coverage will be worth it. Mon the Dossers.
  6. Anybody know if the game will be available ?? If yes can we have a link please.
  7. Tom Hateley's 3 awards against Rangers, Celtic and Dumpdee Utd. Obviously likes playing with the big boys. Well done Tom.
  8. Mibees we could get the speermint chewy gum and macaroooon bars oot a wee carboard box as well. Happy days. Mon the Dossers
  9. To be fair to the people who run the lottery if you win they will get in touch with your cheque. Over the years I think I have had £100 three times and £25 a couple of times and the money has always arrived even when I didn't know I had won. I agree that it should be possible to publish the winners somewhere on the official site though. The 5o-50 draw is another matter. I posted after the Hibs game that it was impossible for anybody in the East stand to have any chance of winning as you can't hear a bloody thing through that tannoy system and with the electronic scoreboard also down there was absolutely no way you could find out if you had won. What happens to the money if nobody claims it ??
  10. Hope the big announcement is a new Tannoy system. MFC must have made a bomb last night because nobody in the East stand who bought a ticket has a F*****g clue what number won. Come on guys get it sorted. P.S. What a F*****G game. Mon the Dossers
  11. Well done to all concerned at Fir Park especially Alan & Leeanne. Keep up the good work.
  12. Ya beauty. Bring on the Hibees at Fir park.
  13. Anybody heard the rumour that Jack Ross (St Midden) has signed a pre-contract with us for next season ?? Hope it's a load of bull.
  14. If Martin Rose is standing down does that mean the Trust can put forward a condidate for the Board ?? Just a thought.
  15. Tweed the point I was trying to make was that there are far more important things that Mr Doncaster should be worrying about than the state of the pitch at Fir Park. For how many years have we heard about the SPL eradicating sectarian chants and songs from the Old Firm ?? Doncaster should be addressing issues like that instead of getting his 15 minutes of fame in the Daily Rancid by "sorting out " the state of Fir Park.
  16. I think we should go to General George and buy a F*****G great big roll end of green carpet, put it down on Friday night, lift it after the game and keep it under the South stand till we need it again. Doncaster talks a load of S***e. What happens if the pitch cuts up on Saturday ???? He has already pointed out that we did what we did during the close season under the watchful eye of " AN SPL SUPERVISOR". What more can Motherwell do ?? Where does he suggest we go ?? Every park in Scotland (almost) looks in a bloody awful state at present. The SPL is at its usual sabre rattling against one of the wee diddy teams again Why the F**k don't they take action against the mould firm for their continued sectarian songs and chants we hear every week. Sky and ESPN broadcast their vile spoutings every week and I think that is a worse face to present to the rest of the country than the fact that we are having difficulties with the pitch at present. Old Firm game on Sky on Sunday. Listen out for the home presbyterian support giving us rousing choruses from CH3 Sellic in reply giving us their repertoire of ditties of auld Erin. Get your priorities right Doncaster FFS.
  17. Sorry but what am I supposed to see. All I'm getting is a dotted line across the page.
  18. Could you no try it for one game Fal Dosser then I won't have you shouting in my ear for ninety minutes. See you on Saturday. Mon the Dossers.
  19. I think Stevie Craigen opened that gate in the East stand and let him in when the poor wee soul of a linesman wisnae looking. Think the same officials saw "Boydie" obstructing Zemmamma wi' an elbow in the face at Castle Greyskull as well. Don't think they will have any pictures in the Daily Ranger of that one either.
  20. It might also have been the Vice-Presidents club which was situated upstairs in the Main stand. My father-in-law was a member in there a few years ago. Membership got you into their own bar and also included a seat in the main stand in the Vice-presidents box if my memory serves me right. It is still on the go Alan ?? Mon the Dossers.
  21. Working this afternoon and had to listen to Clyde as the radio at work canny pick up Radio Scotland on 810 MW. Interesting point At half time the pundits were saying we are signing Michael McGlinchy during this coming week on loan till the end of the season. They seemed to think it is more or less a done deal and were slevering about how good a player he was before he went to ? Australia. Apparently Sir Alex tried to sign him but he opted for the Smelltic.
  22. The example of Norwich looks like a great idea if we could get it up and running. Anything that gets Well fans and management working in tandem has got to be a good idea in my opinion. Push on Leeann lets get something up and running.
  23. Numpty, whilst not disagreeing with your sentiments I still think we have to include supporters who don't have or don't use the internet. I know for a fact that of the fans who sit beside me in the East stand only Fal Dosser and myself visit this site. There are lots of good Well fans there who would have some good ideas to offer regarding the club and I feel they should also be included in any initiative. I don't think as somebody suggested before that you can just have fans turning up to put their questions to the Club but we have to try to include some fans who are not represented by any of the present organisations. The big problem as I see it is how do you manage to do that ??
  24. Sorry to disagre with you Tweed but I think Leeann's suggestion of a Supporters forum is a great idea. Not every Well fan is a member of this site, FPC or the Trust and their views are just as important as anybody elses. Some fans could possibly not even have access to the internet but this should not preclude them from having an input. The main problem I see is how do you select the fans who are going to be part of it. We all knew of folk on here who just like to start an argument for the sake of it and that's the type we really need to make sure are not involved. I agree that a Q&A section is a good idea and we could try to ensure that only sensible questions were put forward to the club. Good luck with this initiative Leeann. Mon the Dossers.
