  1. I know what you are saying about the money for our league position but our share of the pooled semi gates plus a cup final share if we beat St Johnstone would surely add up to the same as the difference of a couple of league placings. We should be looking at 4th place in the league + cup final win. Mon the Dossers
  2. Hello Mr B Too much time on your hands at work today ?? Hope to see you at the game tomorrow. Mon the Dossers.
  3. New announcement from the SFA this morning "Due to the fact that neither of the Old Firm are involved in this game and to promote a family friendly atmosphere amongst supporters it has been decided that fans who wish to mingle with their counterparts from the opposing team will be allocated as follows Motherwell fans can use section D3 St Johnstone fans can use section C3. This is a limited offer and tickets must be requested and uplifted today Friday 1st. "
  4. I sit just past the halfway line of the East Stand ( nearer the Cooper) and to be honest last night was the noisiest I can remember our end being. In fact I said to some of the guys beside me that I thought the Well Boys had sent some of their team along to spread out the singing. The Cooper as well were responsible for starting a lot of the singing and chanting. Maybe we are getting there at last. Mon the Dossers.
  5. Terrific performances from everyone in C&A. Jeffers - showed what a class player he is. Jennings / Lasley - tremendous workrate from both for 90 minutes. back four - effectively snuffed out an extremely tough pair in Badboaby & Daly. Sutton - tireless effort for full 90 minutes. Humph - did what he should be doing every week and capped it with a goal. Murphy - after the early goal looked more like the player we know he can be. Great finish and had the right back all over the place in the first half Just to have him back went for MURPHY. ( another couple of goals on Saturday and he's back to where he should be )
  6. Between Sutton, Jeffers, Hamill and big Randy for the superb one handed save in the first half. Went for Sutton. 2 goals ; constant menace all game whilst clearly blowing out his erse in the last 15 minutes but still running and chasing balls down. Best performance by a mile from Jeffers since he joined us. Beginning to look like a real player again.
  7. Spot on Dodge. Saunders tackle was never a penalty and Badboaby was looking to go down from the minute he got the ball. Absolute waste of space of a player. His antics with the return ball was a disgrace. Actually went for a piss just after his goal and there was a guy in the bog going on about how the Well fans were trying to wind him up. FFS ask the lassie who woke up with him on top of her how she feels about him. Absolute ar**hole of a man. Hope he gets it tight in the replay. Mon the Dossers
  8. He is just confirming what Walter Smith was saying about Celtic getting special treatment since the McDonald affair. The referees are bending over backwards to give nothing against Celtic at the moment How the F*** the big baldy centre half got to the 93rd minute on Sunday before being booked is a mystery to me ( and also to Murdo McLeod who apparently made reference to the fact that he hadn't been booked on Radio Scotland ) Mon the Dossers
  9. had the misfortune to be on the 10:30 train from Queen St to Airdrie on Wednesday night. The great unwashed piled in at Bellgrove and Carntyne and started the old Scottish folksongs about the Auld Brigade, up the RA etc. One of the best though was the one about Can you see a Handsome h*n no no. I felt like asking them if they had ever seen themselves in a mirror. Just can't get enough was getting laldy as well and if there hadn't been so many of them on the train I might just have asked them if the got enough on Sunday Ar**holes.
  10. Sure it wisnae Willie Hare ?? wee short wirey sort of chap.
  11. Canny see John Boyle stumping up cash to pay for the two guys wi the hard hats to walk up & down the front of the east stand wi fire extinguishers.
  12. Just seen McCall give an interview on SSN where he said the player they were trying to get won't be allowed to leave their present club till the summer. Presumably that means his contract is up and he can go where he wants then. He also said that deals for other players they were after fell through because of players wage demands or clubs looking for money to let them come up to Scotland. Says its been the most frustrating 48 hours in his time in managemant.
  13. At the meeting on Monday night it was stated that Stuart McCall was told to use all the wages freed up by the departure of Reynolds, Gow, Fitzy and Blackman and that the board wouldn't be happy if the money wasn't used. It was also stated that there were a couple of "high profile" players being lined up which the media hadn't got wind of. Let's wait and see if anything happens before we start bumping the gums as usual. In Stuart we trust.
  14. Hi Dave being in the East stand I never hear the numbers and have to rely on the scoreboard for the results. Yesterday for a first the numbers were posted on an A4 sheet of paper on the back of the turnstyles as we left the East stand. Unfortunately I don't know what they were but it is a wee step in the right direction.
  15. Agree with the poster earlier in that I was sure McBride was booked before the tackle on Murphy. McBride at least got booked but what about Murray???? If Humphrey had gone down and rolled about after the assault in the first half I reckon Murray could have walked but because he stayed on his feet we didn't even get a free kick. Then early in the second half he went flying into Crags/Hutch ?? with his elbow and again no free kick. Great result but Hibs are total crap.
  16. Not too sure about that. The SFL have a programme of highlights I believe being shown somewhere.9 (Tried to watch it once but it is one of those streaming things that takes about 20 minutes to show a 20 second clip)
  17. The new big Spanish centre half will kick the shit out of Riordan and the guy from Standard Liege will score a hat-trick with Murphy getting a double. 5-0 Well Simples
  18. Flamengo was the Brazilian team we scored 9 against. I remember Andy Weir (famous for scoring direct from corners) took a head knock against Third Lanark at Cathkin and ended up in Hospital with meningitis. Fortunately he recovered to play again for us. If only we could get a team like that again.
  19. That was the team that got me started watching the mighty Dossers. We might have some great young players coming through but I doubt we will ever have a team which will produce the football played by the Ancell Babes. Weir McSeveney McCallum Aitken Martis McCann Reid Quinn St John Hunter Weir What a team !!!!! P.S. I might be wrong with this team but if you're old enough to remember the Babes there's a fair chance your memory might be about to go. ? Anybody else remember seeing them. Mon the Dossers
  20. It is a solid central defender in his work behind it and having a good long scroll. It is versatile and goes well above thanks to its large size. Charge almost always make the job less bright, the more you play better opponents call him. A player very correct in all actions that are requested Translation from the Real Madrid site about Jaime Navarro Whit the F*** does that mean. Just exactly what we are looking for ???
  21. First game he'll score, run to the East Stand, do his somersault celebration and land on a divot and turn his ankle. Out for 6 weeks. Mon the Dossers
  22. Know somebody who follows Falkirk and they have had this since last season. They do interviews with players, updates on the team etc every day . They do stream live games from stadia which have the facilities to do it but you can't access it if you are in Scotland The person I know has a brother in Jersey who subscribes to it and by using a proxy server they can log in as if they were in Jersey and watch the away games. (Sorry Flow if this is giving anything away) Presume Well TV will be something similar.

Went for Hutch due to the fact he hasn't played for ages but still had a good game apart from one slip when Foran got the better of him and should have scored. Big Randolph had a great first half with less to do after the break. Pass marks for Murphy,Sutton and Jennings.
  24. Very sad news. Condolences to all the O'Donnell family
  25. They'll be dancing in the streets of Threave tonight. Just checked the bookies sites. We're now 4th favourites behind Rangers, Celtic & Hearts. Mon the Dossers
