Nah mate we have Jennings, Lasley, Meechan and Fitzpatrick. all defensive minded midfielders, I think more of a creative player is required, he is a decent player but I just dont like him or his style. A poor mans Lasley for me.

Today showed me that Sutts aint a left midfielder, on a big wide pitch like ibrox then he doesnt have the same effect for cross balls coming in. I think that part is harsh. He has had a very good season but unfortunately the last few games he has been very poor. His distribution today wasnt the best at all and he made Lafferty look like footballer. But he is only a young lad and I would like to see him given a new 2 year contract. I think we all have to take into perspective that this has been a very long and arduous season for the team who are the majority still very young. a few of the lads deserve a good few weeks off to recharge their batteries to be back for the Europa Qualifiers(c'mon United). Outwith the OF we have performed better all season than any of the other teams who played in Europe and we started early. Credit to the lads for this.

Thats a great article Ricky. Sounds very promising. If we could afford £150k or the likes for him and his wages on a 3 year contract would be a fantastic bit of business as I believe he would go on to become a top player and we could get real good cash for him in a couple of years. Dont know what the team will be today if the Ruddy, Crags and las are out. I'd Probably go for Fraser, Hately, Reynolds, Saunders, Hammell JOB, Coke, Jennings, Murphy Sutton, Juke Really need a performance from Jenno and Coke. We cannot let Utd dominate the midfield again like we did up at Tannadice recently. The ariel battle between Saunders and Webster/Dodds at set pieces will be very important aswell. I'm a season ticket holder and will be renewing as will my dad and my mate. I will miss a few games this year due to getting married, honeymoon, poss work etc but still have had my ticket for years and will buy it every year for the rest of my life I think. Scottish football aint great or good value for the cash we pay, but its ours and we have to support it and our club.

Totally agree with this post Yir. In todays game he was the only player to find a forward pass to feet and I personally think he is wasted in the left of midfield. He doesnt have the same fitness/pace or trickery of JOB but when he has the ball to feet he very rarely loses possesion. When was the last time he played Centre Mid. I would have him in there with Jennings or Lasley playing just behind him. I think both Jenno and Lasley have been shite playing beside each other for a good few weeks and both dont offer enough going forward, our centre midfield is always side to side or backwards, no creativity at all. Why do we as a support have to find a scapegoat when things go wrong. For example what did JOB do today that Forbes didnt, whats did Jenno or Las do today that Forbes didnt. Some of the shouts from our fans where down right fucking awful. We as supporters can be a complete disgrace at times. Would we as fans be happy for a player to be as fast as fuck, chase every ball and foul the odd player but look like he is bursting a gut or do we want someone who is composed on the ball, can pick a pass for fun, score a good few goals and hit a great delivery into the box. How people can question Fobes effort is beyond me, he knows his limitations and plays to them. This is one of the problems with a Scottish football fan, they are happy with blood and snotters with no end product but dont accept someone who cant run like a headless chicken to every tackle and ball to make them look good.

Just in from the game. Took just over an hour to get back to Bellshill from Dundee, which is the best point of the day and I am totally scunnered. First 15-20 mins we were excellant, got the ball down and moved it very well, creating a few chances/corners etc. Just unfortunate that the ball didnt break in the box to a Well player. Murphy then missed a very good chance with the head and we had a goal chopped off for offside, I cant comment if it was the correct decision or not mind you. Then the telling point in the game, a clear red card for the lad Dixon, terrible tackle, studs high on O'Brien in what was clearly retribution for a tackle bye JOB a couple of mins before. 2 mins later Dillon went right through the back of JOB in a clear foul and nothing was given and that set the tone for Utd to bully and hassle our players for the rest of the game. From then onwards it was all downhill, we played pish after that. No creativity, no pace. The ball was played from side to side and back to front. Sutton playing wide left and leaving Murphy/Juke to battle against Webster and Lurch(kenneth) in the centre defence for Utd. We struggled to string passes to gether, team looked lethargic, off the pace, uninterested even. Too many times we tried short intricate passes aganst a hard working Utd midfield and we made Bauben, Swanson and Conway look like fucking world beaters. The less said about there 2nd and most important goal the better, Ruddy made a complete fucking howler. In all I would be struggling to give passmarks to anybody in the team today after the 20 min mark, nobody played well. Really really disappointed.

In my reading of the article it was losing him at the end of the season not just now. Good result, I thought Humphrey had a great game at right back against the accies at NDP in the 2-2 game, his ability to get forward is obviously there to see but his pace would be a tremendous asset defensively.
