  1. Going 4-4-2 in the 2nd half by the sounds. Humphrey, Forbes, Hately O'brien in the midfield with Murphy and Duke up front. Dropped Coke. Thought he had a good game against Celtic but the previous 2-3 games thought he was pretty poor, maybe a wee drop will do him good.
  2. Agreed... he looked fantastic today. Very solid in the tackle and a great passer. Maros who?????
  3. Ya beauty.... great result. Held on near the end... my heart was in my mouth last 5 mins... Well played boys, great result.
  4. Feels like a goal is coming tbh. Playing really well.
  5. I saw the big man in Cruise the other day in town with his good lady and hell yeah she is a cracker. Good on ye son.
  6. Excellant to see. See if any of them want a game for the Welltrust Flow.
  7. Good appointment I think. Young hungry and has a point to prove. Also a nice big chap and a local lad to boot, Newmains I think. Welcome Stewart.
  8. Well done Rossco..... very deserved. When you look at that Under 21 Midfield its actually pretty strong. Good times ahead for the national.
  9. Pish poor today. Dont think Saunders was mainly at fault. For me I thought Coke had his 3rd poor game in a row, he was to blame for the 2nd goal and Ruddy for the 3rd, why did he punch it into the net. Conroy today was shit feart to show any cards, repetitive fouling from the Hibs players and letting Zemmama do what ever he wanted all day. We were very poor today.

Sllightly contradicting yourself. On your previous post you said he was brutal..... then your saying you will form a better opinion when he settles in. Sounds to me like your opinion is already formed. Personally I think the lad is trying to hard but I think he looks like he has the potential to be a very decent player. Has a good touch and turn of pace and when he scores his first goal i can see a good few to follow. Things are going to well amongst the team that it seems that people are looking for the scape goat to criticise. Lukas to me looks like he has the Sheridan factor abouts him from last year that will divide the support. But I really dont see how anyone can compare him to Gollum Elliott.
  11. Was between Ruddy, Hately, Saunders and Reynolds for me, but went for the Rudster, the big man was awesome.
  12. Just back in from the game today after a nice easy run back from Dundee. Felt a great journey after 3 pts up there. Wasnt our best performance of the season but the team ground out a result and I will say we are a very hard team to score against. Big Ruddy was fantastic today, I cant wait to see the three saves he made in the 2nd half, from where I was they looked world class. Saunders and Reynolds again looked solid, what a calm pair of heads the two of them are. I dont think Saunders lost a header in the air again, that boy is a touch of quality, his distribution was also great, always to feet and never flustered, up against Cadamarteri who had a good game. Another solid performance from Hately, his range of passing and his tackling in the holding midfield role was fantastic. Maros who????? Was gutted for Jenno getting taken off but who can argue with the Messiah Jimbo, was a tactical decision that paid off and I think his soft booking just before that made up Jimbo's mind. Also though big Lukas had a good gam when he came on. Really happy with the result and just shows you today how far we have come on. I cannot wait for the next game now, the Hivees at home (also ICT). Bring it on.....
  13. Were do I start. The bottom line we should have won that game. Offer me a point at the start of the game and 0-0 I would have taken it, having been there and watched how well we played I'm slightly disappointed not to be coming home with a cheeser the size of the Clyde after beating them 1-0. For a period in the 2nd half we dominated the football and made them look very very ordinary indeed. Champions league, your having a laugh. 6 pts out of 12 and undefeated after 4 games... I'll take it, but so could very easily be more. m'on the Well.
  14. What part of my post did you actually read...... I suggest you go back re-read it and if you are still struggling re-read it again.....
  15. I dont want to overly criticise the club in what they are doing as I completely understand the reasoning behind why they have priced this game as such and fair play to them and all that but.... As a season ticket holder I'm a little bit disgruntled at this, another feeling that ST holders are getting a raw deal as the 1 free Cup game we are getting is only worth £10, petty complaint yes I know but just my immediate and gut reaction....... is there maybe not something we can get out of this to boost the crowd like ST holders can bring a friend for free or is this getting saved for another game. As I said before the crucifying mob come on and slaughter me, not having a major dig just indicating my slight displeasure.
  16. So your another Coltness High Scholl boy. Big Holmesy was the year below me at School. Was a cracking big player he was also a top class goalkeeper aswell. Lee McCulloch played for my boys club team, he was actaully pretty pish up until he was about 13. Played against Barry Ferguson a few times but the best player i played for against for schools and Boys level had to be Paul Hartley, what a right winger, great wee player Zico was.
  17. Thats actually a pretty decent wee track. Really starting to warm to Jimbo as a player aswell, progressing well under JG.

One of the guys on P&B is saying he has watched him on a few occasions and he is a very attcking full back although not too hot defensively. Ah well good pedigree for me and JG hasnt let us down yet. Welcome aboard Yas.

Good stuff, looks a big lad, heres hoping it will help progress his career. Welcome aboard Lukas.
  22. When you read that and Modernists post about a possible friendly against Hibs today....... Interesting.
  23. Agree 100% with what you have said Jay. Will also comment on the signing you have missed(apart from Fraser) Tom Hately:- Very solid and dependable player so far, looks to be a very good asset to the squad with his versatility, not shy of a tackle and is a better than decent passer of the ball. Strong, athletic and pretty quick, another good signing.
