Find this a strange topic to be honest as for me its Home every time. Surprised by the amount saying away, but hey each to their own. Nothing better than walking into Fir Park and watching Motherwell win on home turf, surrounded by fellow Well fans, knowing that the away fans have travelled to watch there team getting beaten. A day like yesterday is what supporting a team like Motherwell is all about, first home game of the season watching your team winning comfortably with players who have coming through your youth system playing a massive part.... nothing better. Fir Park is my 2nd home.

Thing is I have heard of the same story aswell but not from a taxi driver. Slane(£40K) and A.N.Other(£20k) player had a gentlemans agreement to go to Celtic... if McGhee went (not Forbes tho). I believe its a player who has yet made it to the 1st team but is very talented..... dont know who tho.

Offers are on the table but not yet accepted. 3years all round. Players arent happy with money offered by the club but 2 out of 3 are wanting to sign, the 3rd I have been told is vry unsure. Also new contract has been offered to Murphy but he hasnt signed as he has no agent(even though he does also want to sign) and one of the senior players is "advising" them all on what to do.... which includes not signing and holding out to see what else is on offer.... From a very reliable sauce........

Just intoday from the game and I am delighted with the result but more importantly the performance. Get it right roon ye Jeffries. Where do I start could have been 5 or 6. Think we dominated the game today and some of our attacking football in the first half was fantastic. Dont think anyone had a bad game today but I was very impressed with the perfomances of Saunders, Sutton, Hutchison, Forbes, Coke and deifinately my MOTM was Jim O'brien. Was a threat every time he got the ball and tore there right back a new yin. I though Hutchison and Saunders for being 19 and 18 years old played Kyle very well, and never looked physically outmatched all game. Forbes passing and set peices where deadly all day, Suttons link up play and holding up of the ball was top class but JOB was great top watch going forward. Thoroughly enjoyable game of football played on a cracking pitch. P.S. Killie for the game just tried to lump it up to Kyle and Sammon and didnt play football, we outpassed and out manouvered them for the full game. Delighted.

Good result today for the lads and good to see Jamie Pollock getting a Hat-trick. Could be another of the conveyor belt.

Just reat that the average age of the team that started the game today was 20...... bloody hell that is something else.

I thought Forbes had a good first half also. He was one of the only players who could find a pass and tried to make the space. also won a fair few tackles today aswell. Agree with Coke but think Forbes had the better all round game. really excited about this midfield, think they gell well together.

Forbes for me. Think in the full game he only had one misplaced pass and was constantly trying to spread the game. Terrific footballer and a World class goal.

Just in from the game.... Where do I start First half I thought we were pretty poor until they scored with J O'B not having the best of games on the left wing. Craigan was getting bullied by Dr Deuchar nd Sutton won diddly squat. J O'B was trying hard but his final delivery too often let him down. Yet again Mr Gannon showed that he wasnt afraid to change it and take off the senior players. I thought the inclusion of McHugh changed the game, showed a lot of strenght and running and the boy has a very good football brain, know idea why McDonald never sent off McCaffrey for the last man tackle on McHugh aswell, shocking.. It was a cracking 2nd half to watch to be fair. End to end stuff. Our defending at times at high balls again was shambolic, wasnt to impressed with Ruddy today.... fair enuff the conditions werent great with the wind but we looked like conceding everytime a ball was played into the box. Enough of the bad stuff now onto the good...... what a goal by Forbes, that boys left foot is sweet. Great first touch and a beautiful stroke into the top bag, cant wait to see that again. Also a brilliant header from the Hutch for our first. Two good goals. Thought the young lad Hately was solid today for his first game, nothing spectaular but solid at right back, especially since he was up against morias for a lot of the game who certainly is a decent player. Was always going to be a hard game and all in all a point isnt a bad result..... p.s. if o'Briens strike had went in I think I would have creamed my pants what a dink, very very unlucky.

In my eyes this guy is a legend already. Talks a really good game and speaks a lot of truths. Its a joy to have a manager whose head is not so far up his own arse that he farts Colgate.

Heading up to this game with my old man and really looking forwatd to it. Fancy a 2-1 Well victory, goals from Sutton and Murphy. I know Coach and his family really well, grew up with his big brother and due to that have known Paul since he was a young kid. Always a decent lad, really pleasant and chatty when you meet him. He's just a normal daft boy and in my dealings with him has never let football go to his head... his only real downfall is the fact that he supports the mhanky mob, but apart from tht he's a decent guy. For what itsd worth I would love to have had him in this current side with all the young players as he was a true leader on the pitch and would always help the younger players. Was the first to try and get the crowd going and the team, a very vocal player which I think we are missing.

Ha ha no no my friend, Stancu dived, Murphy was fouled. There was two handball penalties not given. Cracking goal by Stancu for the 2nd though.

On a side note. Did anyone see the absolutely stunning burds in the box at the far end of the Main Stand. I'm guessing that it was friends and family of maybe Coke or Humphrey... (have a guess why) but there was a couple of absolute honeys in there. Heres hoping they will be at more games this year. Made my night.......

Just in from the game tonight and I'm unsure how to feel. Really happy with the 1st half performance, we played some tremendous stuff, if we had got the 2nd goal I really feel we would have won the tie. But as per usual a foreign referee fucks up Motherwell in Europe, he was a fucking diddy all night. Let them away with murder and gave them what looked to me like a very very soft penalty. as soon as that happened it was game over. Listening to the tranny on the way home and Chick Young said we could have had 3 pens.... I totally agree with this. Plus points for me tonight where the performances of Forbes(What a peach of a goal), Hutchison(solid and neat on the ball), Sutton(thought he had a tremendous game) and I also thought Hammell had a good game tonight. Coke was also very impressive. Dont know why both Gannon and Ward where sent to the stands, fucking shit refereeing. Its one of those big "If" nights...... disappointed but happy all the same, plenty to look forward to for the season. Rollon the league I cant wait for it to start.

A cross between Rooney, Huntelaar, Pele, Klinsmann with some Bergkamp thrown in for measure would be nice. Either that or a 6ft 2", pacey striker who is strong in the air with an eye for goal would do..
