  1. Think you should, the boy looked class, the way he skint young Saunders for the 3rd goal was a touch of quality.
  2. Difficult game tonght against a very good team. They where technically suiperior and the money they have spent on players definately showed. Thought the big baldy left winger made a big impact when he came on. Looked a quality player. The boys gave a decent account of themselves and I am very happy that we have got Ruddy in goals he looks like a player. Giles Coke looked decent aswell, still to be won over with Jennings and Humphrey though.... time will tell. Get a result of some description next week at airdrie and confidence and pride will be high..... We still can do it .... no denying that, an early goal and its game on.... heres hoping we dont do a Nancy tho and concede early.
  3. Just leaving the noo. Bring it on.
  4. Gutted Why does this happen to us. Feels like we cannot go any period withot this happening. Come on big man give us a break.
  5. Just have the feeling that both him and Smith wont be required under Gannon. Just dont think that they look like his type of players. Dont like to see promising youth given the heave but I think both these players are maybe going a bit stale at FP. Possibly a change of scenary will do them both the world of good and there careers can progress. I like both guys as players and both of them are good lads off the pitch wouldnt like to see them stagnate.

Excellant..... He's very highly rated player down sarf. Good times Welcome JR.
  8. And the record of the First Scottish team to win an away leg after losing the first leg at home.... Jim Gannon record breaker record creator.
  9. The Messiah speaks. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8164957.stm
  10. Tough shout between Slane, Forbes, Murphy and Sutton but I have went for Slane If he had a wee flying rats tail I would be sure it was the Fadster. This boy has bags and bags off ability.
  11. Just back. Brilliant result tonight especially the fact that all goals where scored by Teenagers. Thought we played some great stuff and Slane and Forbes are too superstars in the making. How much is Slane like Faddy, they kicked lumps out him but as soon as he got back out he got up took the ball a mazy. Joy to watch. Forbes is a natural footballer, totally at ease in everything he does and what a left peg, his corners where causing hassle from the get go. Happy enough with the two new boys, Jennings is a tank of a player, small but solid who will take no stick, nothing fancy just what we need and the Humph looked pretty decent. Good performances from Hutchison(solid), Murphy(sharp), Sutton worked his arse off and won a lot of headers. Really chuffed with this tonight. Might have to take a sicky to go to Romania next week.
  12. I was saying to my old man the other night that I think we should consider pushing reynolds into a holding Midfield role as I think it would suit him down to the ground as he is athletic and a good football brain. Not sure about J.O'B at right back as he maybe doesnt have the physical side to his game but you never know look at Stepover's transformation. I hope he does decide to drop McGarry as I dont feel he has offered much going forward in the 3 games so far. My team would be Fraser Saunders Craigan Hutchison Hammell Reynolds(Forbes) Jennings(Lasley) Humphrey Slane Jim O'Brien Sutton Slane played tremendous when he played in behind the Striker against llanelli for a short period in the first leg. I know I dont know much about the new lads but give them a shot. You can always replace Humphrey with Murphy and Jennings with say Forbes if he needs a change. That attacking line up actually looks pretty tidy to me, if Sutts gets the ammo he WILL score goals no doubts.
  13. I've been really impressed by Gannon so far, from the way he conducts his business to the young ambitious hungry players he have signed who CLEARLY want to play for him. Its been the best pre-season so far and its refreshing seeing a manager doing the right things and not just talking a lot of baloni.
  14. I think he should have been given the number 0 for the club. Like Coke zero... geddit... no really.... geddit.... fuck this is getting bad, suppose its what I deserve for coming on late and missing the chance for all the good jokes...
  15. This signing has got me on a real high.... I just hope that it doesnt go Pete Tong because i would be on a real come down.....
  16. Not too sure what to expect this year. To be honest I dont really want to have too high expectations as we are really going to have a young team and that could put to much pressure on them. First and foremost I want to finish above St Mirren.... anything else is a bonus and the following years take it from there. A nice little run in a cup would be nice aswell.
  17. Not entriely true. The young lad Hutchison came in last year against the Accies and played really well. From what I have seen of the lad, he looks a good players. Dont get me wrong I think we still need a centre back but I dont think 2 is required.
  18. Of course we can. They are there for the taking. (aslong as we dont get pens and Sutts doesnt hit them).
  19. Fuck.... silly retake of the pen that should never have been...... You just knew they would score after that.
  20. Will take 0-0 but Sutts really should have scored that chance. He was leanin back with a player behind him but still should have hit the net. Playing good stuff tho. Forbes looks like he has been playing in that side for years and European footie suits his style, short sharp passes. Impressed. Think O'Brien is roipping that full back a new arsehole sometimes but cant really see because the shade lol.
  21. Watching on my PS3 aswell..... good link Geedub.
  22. Excellant Welcome to Fir Park Chris. I like the route that JG is taking with his signings, young keen, hungry footballers who want to prove a point. A 3 year deal, thats what am talking about, two great full seasons and then sell for £1m back down south.... cha ching. I'm loving this pre season.
  23. Roma would defo be a really tough tie but I agree with you Lip Dortmund where a team of complete superstars, Moller, Sammer, Kholer, Poulsen etc. Fair enough it was a really good Well side. I think if we get a draw against Fulham then we would have a decent chance. We still have this Albanian mob to beat mind you, lets do that first.
  24. Totally agree. Dont know about anyone else but this has been one of the most eventful and one of the best pre-seasons that i can remember. Heres hoping a few more signings pop in and make it even better.
