  1. 'Well fans are singing the name of former boss Terry Bucher... Still appreciative of what the big man achieved whilst at FP.

  4. On the BBC website it says late kick off? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/s...rem/9161867.stm
  5. I dont remember ever seeing an Adidas away strip never mind a purple one worn by any Motherwell team.
  6. That Admiral away kit, Like the claret shorts with the amber and white stripes down the sides of my avatar and white socks with C&A stripes round the top. THE best away kit IMO. Wish I had a picture to post of that Away kit. Anyone got a picture tucked away some where?
  7. Was that the Mfc type or the Club badge? I remember AM saying the team wasnt good enough to wear the badge? I remember the Mfc on the Admiral Home and Away strip...actually played in them strips for the MFC supporters team that Jim Henderson ran. We were a good team even had 'Well players come and watch us.
  8. Had to be back when Ally Mcleod was manager that flouro yellow Adidas strip thank phuc it had NO club badge on it can anyone remember it?
  9. Are the stewards employed by MFC or contracted by MFC? That Aston Villa incident poor sod, the stewards should have helped him up and back over the wall and laughed it off! There is one thing in the training of a lot of people in a lot of jobs that is sadly missing...being the use of common sense.
  10. Vuvuzella's? I know where they should be!!
  11. Inverness eh? So with the 'Well fans up there will there be 4 and 20 less virgins up there then?
  12. What ever happens re a bad Ref it wont change the result of the match.
  13. Yes he was a hard grafter and a nice lad as well.
  14. Me tae! My first game my Uncle took me to Ibrox he was Rangers daft it was 1961 the visiting team was Motherwell. I have been a 'Well fan ever since.
  15. Hey Sailor agree with your last paragraph mate
  16. Numpty in OZ a retired sports legend who is still alive has a statue outside Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Anyway it was just a thought as Joe is still alive, should be a fitting gesture to a great club servant.
  17. Why? You don't have to be dead to have a statute put up.
  18. I was at this game Brilliant game, great team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Gz_4NV0mnY...feature=channel
  19. I can remember when the Main stand was full and the wee terraces at the front were full aye you could even stand behind the dugout and talk to the players behind you they would lift the glass partion and have a wee chat. the terraces behind the goals were about half full and the wee covered terraces at the school were always full. The floodlight towers could be seen for miles and if you were up in the stands you could see the Steelworks in full flow. Best pies and bovril were to be found at Fir Park. After the game down in the social club was fun but it did need a wee lic o' paint. Talking of the main stand have they finished it yet? Old Firm games Fir Park was bursting at the seems..aye good days. Bit different to to days Fir Park with its luxurious stands and wee floodlight towers eh? Anyway enough o' this wee trip doon memory lane... C'mon ye Well!
  20. Good thread of the Motherwell LFC all teams. Pity the mind set of the club. Here in OZ they have a professonial Womens league and has live games every week on the TV. The womens play in their clubs stadiums not on some public park! Have seen some great games. The Matildas the womens Australian team have their games on TV even when the play abroad. You would think that the SFA and the clubs would be promoting the womens game. Womens football at all age leves are going gangbusters down here.
