  1. I think I it's more about clubs we've sold players to who could have paid more for our players and who could have afforded to . No more than that.
  2. Well it is my opinion. But don't you think some clubs give low offers when we are selling because it's Motherwell? That's my only point on this really Im just having this discussion with my brother just now and his opinion is that we did OK on the O'Donnell sale, Turnbull too but that a few others were sold on for less than what they were worth.
  3. I think O'Donnell was worth more than we sold him for Turnbull too. Faddy to Everton as well. Faddy went to Everton for 1.25 million This isn't the fault of Motherwell in my view. Just that we've always been a selling club and I think a few players have left for less than they were worth. So hopefully Motherwell will get what Miller is worth Actually edited to say Turnbull wasn't sold on the cheap but I think other players have been and possibly we got so little for Faddy because we were in administration
  4. I think it is. I've never seen a player go for that in my lifetime but as I said before at least we have options and he's not going to be sold to Rangers and Celtic for buttons - that's the most important thing really. Too many Motherwell players have been sold on the cheap
  5. Apparently we got 308k when he moved on
  6. I don't think he will go for ten million. That's crazy money. The fact is historically is that Motherwell have sold players for less than they are worth because we've had to but what might make a difference is that he hopefully won't be going to Rangers or Celtic. Im not sure he's worth 10 million tbh. He's an exceptional talent but if we do get that sum for him then of course Motherwell won't knock it back.
  7. His last name is Slattery. He used to work in a cattery. He gave that up.. To win a cup. Scoring in a Wimmer wonderland
  8. If you had taken a pause after snowman I would have got it sooner
  9. I saw a few comments online at the time of the police issues saying that he had been dealing with a bereavement - but not much more than that (obviously his business to talk about). I've met him a couple of times at calendar signings and he's always come across as a really nice person. I think he's very underrated as well -good to see him hitting form again.
  10. I really don't want to dicuss it any further.
  11. I personally think there's a view that if someone is charged they are guilty. It's the complete opposite in law. You are innocent until found guilty in court
  12. As much as I get why people aren't impressed by KVV people are innocent until proven guilty. He's not been through the criminal justice system yet. Robbo was charged and went to trial for allegedly assaulting his partner and was found not guilty Harry Paton was also rinsed all over the media because of allegations made by his ex partner - and that didn't go to trial I grew up with domestic violence. I'm lucky to have my mum. But one thing I won't do is brand people guilty before a verdict This is just me speaking generally
  13. We also do things to boost the home crowd. We did it the other week with the bring a friend for three quid offer.
  14. Might have been the same guy 🤣🤣
  15. Someone on here said last year that that a one legged Slattery would be better than Halliday
  16. Someone offered me 100 quid for my season ticket on skippy Sunday. I declined Random Celtic fan I met on the bus.
  17. I think big Ox would be in with a shout if he hadn't got injured - still might get it though.
  18. He was. Big time. Particularly when he was saying that the second goal was from moves they worked on in training. I am liking Halliday more by the day tbh
  19. Downright hilarious. We were bang average and Lafferty what's his name Slattery should have been sent off
  20. I'm not really bothered about Europe tbh. Top six will do
