Don't think it will take years.
-
I agree. I don't see why he would be leaving if we stay up or go down. He surely knew how badly Motherwell were struggling before he took the job. He clearly wanted the challenge
-
Do you think Casey has never been a good defender?
-
I still want to keep him though think he's got better good qualities than bad if that makes sense. But I think he'll be off to Hearts
-
Personally I would be happy to keep both Gordon and Casey but I think Casey will go elsewhere
-
Again you are getting personal. Which I've never done with you. Ever. I also don't care how often people disagree or don't disagree with me on this platform. I've had plenty of civil conversations with plenty of people on here. I don't have an issue with you. Let's just leave it there eh. You could have stopped the sentence after disagree. I've supported Motherwell since 1987. What difference does it make if I don't always agree with everyone on here? What's the issue if I liked Kettlewell or not? There's no need to respond. 😉. I'm sure we all want the best for our club.

My views on Kettlewell have nothing to do with whether I think Slattery should stay next season. Hopefully you'll understand that. It's irrelevant what my views on Kettlewell were. I pay my money the same as the next person to watch my club and I don't think I should be chinned for any of my views. Did my view on Kettlewell on steelmenonline make any difference to what has happened after? I'm not responsible for what the board did or didn't do. Are we all supposed just to think the same way? I've been sorry when lots of managers have left. Not just Kettlewell. And as other people have said - Kettlewell kept us up when we were going down I actually can't be arsed. It's just getting personal and I've got better things to be doing Sorry my views didn't align with the "vast majority". I was in NO camp. I've given Wimmer my backing. I wouldn't have travelled to Aberdeen if that wasn't the case. I also don't care what the vast majority of opinions were - I'm entitled to mine
-
He's an asset to us as a player. Why would you want to punt one of our better players and bring someone else in. We don't need to sell Callum. Miller is the saleable asset
-
You don't think Slattery deserves to be part of our team next year? He's one of the few players that are actually performing right now
-
Because he's just signed on for another year
-
That's not how it works. You don't clear players that are under contract. Would you want to get rid of Slattery who has been outstanding since he came back from injury. Come on We have some decent players in the squad who don't deserve to be punted. Sparrow has just signed on again. Should he go too?
-
I don't have an issue with Wimmer. I just hope that he doesn't fall into the trap of being too stubborn. I said the other week that I thought Ox should have been in goals and someone said that I wasn't being positive about Balcombe. Also we don't know the time line that Ox should be back so I won't criticise him for that either. Like you say. We need to back the team
-
I understand why people are unhappy. I went to my first away game in decades and had to watch that Aberdeen shit show. But I'm old enough to remember standing on the terraces at Fir Park in the winter with us getting battered off Morton. I don't think we are a shite team. I think we've just had lots of injuries this year and other things that have conspired against us. And if we do go down - fuck it. I'll support Motherwell till the end I honestly do hope Wimmer turns it around but if he doesn't it is what it is. I also don't think our players don't care about the club.
-
You think we will get rid of SOD for example?
-
Some are contracted beyond this summer though.
-
Pretty sure Wimmer knew the task he was taking on. Hes surely not as miserable as the fans who pay to watch this. I'm not going to call it - but I hope we do enough to get out of the play off position. I also don't think every player we have is shit - we just have the same old issues of not scoring enough goals and having a leaky defence. Other seasons we scored enough to make up for the defensive errors. I do hope Ox is back in goals soon. I also don't think Mawhanise is the answer but the manager could do worse than give him a start on Saturday
-
I saw fans elsewhere online say that they think a win for Hearts yesterday would have been the best outcome as they would take it easier on us next week. Don't think that's the case either tbh.
-
Ebiye seems to be well out of the picture - when was the last time he played even as a sub.
-
Club have appealed the red card
-
Kettlewell got a lot of time when things weren't going so well.
-
I don't think he will go either
-
Completely agree. Some changes needed next week assuming he's got a decent number of players to pick from
-
I get that but do you think after the amount of managers we've parted company with over the last few months that he would go so soon?
-
Not so sure. Interviews he's given seem to suggest he's in it for the long haul
-
Is Gordon unwell - I thought he was injured for some reason but I didn't watch the interview before the match on Saturday
