Thank you for your nice comments - appreciated.

Totally got this wrong. Asked my mum and she told me my grandpa did go to home games particularly in the 50s. (he knew the score).

I don't have a twitter account. It's possible to look on twitter via nitter.poast without having one Quite aware that Musk is a knob
-
Do you not feel like that every day on here Joking pal

What is the issue?

Im short sighted in one eye and long in the other. But my long sighted eye is lazy so even though I have vision out of it it's useless Yeah I get what you mean - my close up vision is shite but that's only because of how short sighted I am if that makes sense
-
Im not the biggest fan of twitter and then some but the mfc twitter feed is decent enough in my view as is the official fb page Perhaps the folk who run both these platforms weren't at the game and don't know who scored the goals
-
Im not sure who runs the MFC twitter or the fb page tbh. The official MFC site is probably the last place I would look when it comes to info about the club. The fb page is very well updated Had a look to see if Bellshill mentioned the well scorers on their social media feed. They didn't. Only their own scorers
-
Possibly the reason they didn't post the results on the fb official page was because it wasn't an official fixture. I wouldn't have expected them to post it there tbh. They just posted the result on twitter not the scorers.

Elijah Just. Winger. Plays for Horsens

Short sighted means you have to read close up - so big text absolutely necessary - thank goodness for contact lenses that's all I'll say

Steel blue - British steel.

It's the third top I think so don't think we'll see them play in it - actually - Im talking nonsense. Still like it though

Thank you pal. I appreciate that My grandpa was teetotal. His family were quite religious and he used to have a drink once a year at new year. My gran too. But after he died my mum used to take my gran for lunch and two gins and she was drunk!! And there was the time she came to my house for dinner and she had a few Canadian clubs (steam boats). Sorry gran. Im a terrible influence

My grandpa was called Colin Hayton. He died in 1978 when he was 61 and he was working pretty much up till he was diagnosed with bowel cancer. He was diagnosed and he died within about six months. He worked there most of his adult life as far as I'm aware. My family lived in Airdrie originally and then lived in Hamilton and latterly in Motherwell - they had a tied house on shields road He was a Motherwell fan but pretty sure he didn't go to games often. I wasn't at his funeral. I was 9 when he died, my family throught it would be best for me not to be there but a lot of people from Colvilles turned out - my mum said it was packed full of people he worked with. He was a fisherman and they named a trophy after him after he died She just said she turned around at Daldowie and there was just so many people there from his work He was a fabulous person. I still miss him terribly.

Thatcher privatised British Steel. While they might not be blameless if you look online there are people who think that was just paving the way for the closure My grandpa worked for Colvilles in Shields Road at the Clyde alloy. He was an electrical engineer and his pay was poor for the job he did and the qualifications he had. They went out on strike for better conditions to no avail.

I really like it

I don't think Miller will go to Celtic. I think we'll get better offers from elsewhere and he's also seen how well Mika and Max are doing abroad
-
He posted it on his socials that he was leaving. There was some discussion about it on pie and bov a couple of weeks ago.
-
Says it's been cancelled when you look online.
-
To be fair - we've had a few signings that fans have thought were odd and have come good Pretty sure JBA will have done his homework on us and is aware of the teams weak points. Yeah. I think this is a very decent appointment.
-
It's the first game against decent opposition - with a Motherwell team that's obviously needing strengthened particularly up front - plus we are missing our goalie. I'm not advocating for accepting mediocrity but Im not unduly concerned at this point either.

He's a member but hasn't posted on here in years.

My brother said exactly the same when we were talking about it earlier on that they are comparable with Celtic and Rangers
