  1. You said last week he had one more game before you lost faith in him - and that's ok. You are entitled. But there are people on here who batter him no matter what he does - they want him out. And they've wanted him out for the last 18 months.
  2. Who are you aiming this at. People who support Kettlewell? You're calling people who support Kettlewell stupid?
  3. I'll support him till the end.. Like I've done with every other Motherwell manager. Robbo had a 9 game winless streak when he walked - but we were tenth then and we are currently fifth. The constant Kettlewell bashing is getting on my every last nerve right now - just a general comment
  4. No he doesn't in my view. He's honest and he's always appreciated the support. You can see it in previous videos where he goes over and thanks the support at the end telling them they are brilliant
  5. It's from a longer interview that's on YouTube. Plz soccer. It was obvious to me from reading what Ben Banks wrote that it was lifted from something else. I think context matters - we've seen his responses in part- but not the questions he was asked
  6. That's Ellery Balcombe announced
  7. Im personally not trying to push anyones concerns aside - and I never have. I could say more but Im not sure I'd express what I want to say well so I'll leave it at that
  8. To the second point - no. The first - I'm honestly not sure - there's not a defining line in the sand for me if that makes sense - like if we are 9th - he's got to go. Im not happy with the performances either just now btw It's hard to explain. I do like Kettlewell and if he goes I'll be sorry - but it won't be down to me
  9. What happens if we change up the playing style and still lose?
  10. He got booed once (Kettlewell) I've never booed a player or a manager and I've seen a lot of honking football over the last almost four decades So we get rid of a manager if the crowd boos them? Once? Surely not
  11. Apparently Udinese have had two offers knocked back and are going to make an improved one for Miller
  12. Was nasty knock he took a few games ago. Think he got flung to the ground and got injured as a result
  13. Alexander wasn't sacked though. I don't think Kettlewell will be.
  14. Someone posted on here a few weeks ago and said that they sit near SK and he's always been very vocal - but no different to last year. They felt that he was being unfairly targeted by referees
  15. I don't agree re Robinson being twice the manager Kettlewell is. He left for a reason - we were tenth in the table when he went.
  16. It doesn't. I don't see the point of of the constant shouting for him to go -or name calling him - that's not discussion or debate on any level. Where's the "debate" when people are sitting typing names at him?
  17. I completely agree. There is a human being at the end of this and if folk think it's ok to sit and name call him - I'm not talking about criticising him - I'm talking about name calling - that's on them. It has nothing to do with Kettlewell. Does it make people feel better typing that he's a bell end? This is facebook stuff not on here but there are people who don't like the guy and want him out - do folk need to name call him to achieve that?
  18. You missed Neil Lennon Great post.
  19. You don't. But some people act like they do. I've seen it all over social media. The name calling - the demands that he gets out of our club. Completely pathetic in my view. I actually don't know why anyone would come to this club given the abuse thats dished out to managers when some fans think it's time for the manager to go. I'm not talking about the booing. I'm talking about the name calling on social media - I get why he doesn't look at it
  20. It is completely OK for people to criticise him - but that criticism is completely over the top in some quarters - with people acting like they hate him - and in my view that's on them - it's not on Kettlewell. I think some people have personal issues with him - and I have no idea why. He's kept us in the spl for two seasons and I personally don't think he needs to be proving anything right now - are people howling for Robbos head or the head of McInnes the way some people are with Kettlewell? I think we have a very unforgiving support at times and that's fine - I just don't need to agree with it
  21. I don't boo managers or players. Never have. Never will. If people want Kettlewell out fair enough. I just hope the next manager lives up to expectations. I know plenty of Motherwell fans who don't want Kettlewell out - my issue is that we're supposed to think the entire support hate him based on yesterday? I don't. It's all a tad polarised on here at the moment and if you say you support Kettlewell you get laughed at and told you're an idiot by people who weren't even born when you started going to games. Or that you somehow are responsible for Motherwell not performing because you don't have high enough expectations for your team (I really have seen it all when I saw a post like that). People who like Kettlewell are responsible for Motherwells current performance I really hope that in two years time when he's gone - if we are still struggling that some people might revisit their opinions of him - doubt it though
  22. Innit. So many folk who think they could do his job. He's only an ex professional footballer and all - it's a wonder why they don't just ask anyone to manage Motherwell. Not pointing that at the poster you are responding to btw
  23. I wasn't. But that doesn't change my opinion. Being booed off the park after a very poor result doesn't necessarily translate to loads of fans turning against him. And I'm not the only person who has said the same on here over the last 24 hours Ps. I knew I would get the laughing emoticons but it's no biggie. I've been supporting Motherwell for decades and I don't boo players or the manager - Id rather back the team when we are struggling
  24. I think Kettlewell gets a disproportionate amount of stick than some other managers - and I think people should be able to express support for him - if they want to. It really should not be that polarised. I've seen people on social media calling him Kettlewell bell end. Get out of my club. Etc And I don't go to games to boo people either - I get why fans are upset but I think some fans have a weird hatred of him for no reason I never booed Alexander. I never booed Hammell even though I thought it was the wrong appointment. And I won't be booing Kettlewell either And you know what. I think some people like making digs at people who like Kettlewell - people shouldn't be ridiculed because they support him I like him - other people don't. And that should be enough. I'm not going to be called as someone who does not care about their club just because I don't want him sacked
